Amar Singh is a member of the Samajwadi Party (Socialist party) and is a close associate of Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav. Also very close to Big B.

yep...Even I am sick of him...he goes whereever Big B does...I mean its irritating...but he is a very close friend of Big B and no questioning his friendship I guess😳

Amar Singh is an Indian politician from the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Singh is a member of the Samajwadi Party (Socialist party) and is a close associate of Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav.

He is a close friend of Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and billionaire industrialist Anil Ambani.

In January 2006, Singh was embroiled in a telephone tapping scam in which his conversations with other politicians and a number of Indian film actresses were allegedly recorded.

Recently, in February 2007 he is involved in the controversy of a Bentley car alleged to be presented to Abhishek Bachchan

His family comprises his wife Pankaja Kumari Singh and twin daughters, Disha and Drishti.

He is one of the most controversial and powerful wheeler dealers in Indian Politics. He is alleged to have amassed immense wealth through shady deals involving several top political and business leaders.
