I look at it from this angle though (too keep my patience in check😆😆)...If Nikhil falls for Laajo with out all the hoohaa of "modern/young" clothing it will mean that much more, no????? He will fall for "her" not her "looks", that in the long run always means more (what's on the inside that is, rather than the outside).

I want her to wear simple saris not like the chiffon one. it is not to invite Nikhil only for us, because the latter though Lajjo is wearing these old saris he already like her at least.
Only for us viewers. Gunja can also gives her good simple suits.

Yes, Anju it would have been more "realistic" had she been wearing a simple but beautiful sari, draped just right.😉 And while I like her curly hair, I do wish she would keep it looking less "messy". Curly hair has more body than straight hair so that will be a byproduct of her curls but she should really try to keep more semblance of order with it.


@bold: Very true Anju BUT unfortunately for us and for Laajo, Nikhil can't seem to think beyond Ishana, so how could he possibly take Laajo shopping? What does he do all day? Is he in school that he leaves so early and comes in so late? Or do he and his friends just hang out all day long? I know he has to complete his studies but is he on a break right now? I think unless someone points out her dressing sense, he probably won't take note of it. If someone insults her because of this, I am sure he will want to save her from further insults and will take her shopping (or have someone do it in his stead).

This is also true he does not pay attention at Lajjo as he only thinks about Ishana something which really irks me when he keeps saying "He thinks he has lost Ishana" but this already happened he married Lajjo. Ishana in one episode pointed well saying he wanted to be the hero.
Hope Ayesha begins to talk about Lajjo old saris and the way she draped it oh Parm she also does not carry it properly.
