Lajjo salsa dance dress and her sari.

Lajjo is a girl from a remote village, she gets married to Nikhil came to his place and still has not changed a bit.
The same Lajjo suddenly can dream herself dancing salsa with Nikhil and in her dream she was wearing an apt dress a suitable pair of shoes for salsa dance.Not to forget she dreamt about Nikhil also wearing the tuxedo dancing with her on a suitable music.
My question
Why the same girl can't think about changing her way of dressing though she everyday keeps on looking how the others in the house are dressed.
Why she can't wear the same saree in the perfect way, she keeps wearing it as the old ladies...
Weird a girl who can dream a salsa dance in the suitable dress in the perfect way will definitely like to wear good clothes perfectly as others...

This is what is so baffling about her dress sense. At one point I was under the impression that she has only change between two saris since the beginning of the show apart from her wedding clothes. The clothes she wears now plus the way she wears them is making her look way too old for her own age. At least they could give her some modern saris to wear and it's about time they do so.

You know Anju that point niggled at me too a bit when I saw it. It didn't make sense with the way we see Laajo (and her current state of dress). Also for her to imagine herself in that dress and Nikhil in a tuxedo was a bit far fetched to some point too unless she saw (like a movie) or read something before which could have been a possibility. As for the dress, she's been around Ayesha, Gunja and Nikhil's friends for a while to have imagined that all on her own😆 Anddd, as for her not wearing different styles of saris could be because those are what her parents got her for her marriage attire and since no one has accepted her in her in-laws and Nikhil hasn't taken her shopping (or thought it was necessary) then she's stuck with what she has for the time being. What she could do to improve the "look" is just wear the sari like everyone else does and that would make a drastic improvement on making her look a bit younger.

Makeover of Lajjao may be a future track so the CVs are keeping her as what she is for now!!!

I was also like what how can she dreams about a salsa dance with everything perfect the music also and the DANCE STEPS😆. You are so right if she would have watched a film then dream it would have made sense but here it is.
i think after dreaming herself in a beautiful, simple and light sari, which she has draped perfectly she will begin to wear new saris.

Don't you think at least Nikhil should have taken her shopping of course with the help of Gunja.
saraswati carries the sari better than her...
something serious should be done for Lajjo.of course this is cv's task.

Patience my dear Anju is such a virtue and unfortunately I don't posses much either 😆.

I look at it from this angle though (too keep my patience in check😆😆)...If Nikhil falls for Laajo with out all the hoohaa of "modern/young" clothing it will mean that much more, no????? He will fall for "her" not her "looks", that in the long run always means more (what's on the inside that is, rather than the outside).

There is a serious wardrobe issue where laajo is concern. It is as if the CVs are trying to show us that people from the rural areas don't know how to dress well. This is a wrong notion of course, even village people can and do dress smartly.

She changed it but wears old saris like the old ladies used to wear it, she also does not carry it well.
I agree with you I don't think nowadays people from remote area(all) are not aware how to dress may be some but Lajjo is not from such a poor family. She has seen Anuradha saris... Or other women in her village wearing their saris with their pallu in their left side instead like granny.
