Attarintiki Daredi is said to be about a millionaire settled in US. He learns the differences in his family in India due to his grandfather. He quits his luxurious life in America and comes to India. He becomes a driver at his aunt's house to sort out the family issues. What are the difference? How does he solve them? Answers to these questions form the crux of the story.

Attarintiki Daredi has two heroines like Samantha and Pranitha, who appear as Pawan Kalyan's love interests. Sources from the film unit claim that Samantha, who appears as the daughter of Pawan's aunt, has larger screen presence than Pranitha. Bollywood actor Boman Irani, who is making his debut in Tollywood, is said to be playing Pawan Kalyan's grandfather. Sources from the film unit claim that his character has got negative shades. Mukesh Rishi is playing a villain's role in the movie Attarintiki Daredi. Nadhiya appears as Pawan's aunt.

Popular music director Devi Sri Prasad composed music for the soundtracks and background score for the film Attarintiki Daredi. The songs like 'Aaradugula Bullettu' and 'Bapu Gari Bommo' have already become chartbusters. His score is going to be one of the main highlights in the technical front.
Trivikram Srinivas, who is known for his dialogues, has penned some of the special punch dialogues for Pawan Kalyan in Attarintiki Daredi. Here is an example for it. "Choodappa Siddapa. Ragunandan (Boman Irani) is a multi-billionaire in Milan. Gowtam Nandan (Pawan Kalyan) is his grandson. Raghunandan disowns his daughter Sunanda when she marries a guy of her choice. Raghunandan and Sunanda have no communication for decades. After getting old, Raghunandam who is going through guilt asks Gowtam to convince his daughter and bring her back. The rest of the story is all about how Gowtam convinces his attha and fulfils the wish of his grandfather. 
Pawan Kalyan: Pawan Kalyan has two primary abilities. One is his ability to entertain with his unique and trademarked body-language. Other ability to show intensity and conviction in his dialogues and eyes while doing a serious scenes. Trivikram knows how to exploit these two abilities to get maximum entertainment and intensity (sentiment in this film) from Pawan Kalyan. Pawan Kalyan has a fascination towards acquiring world tastes (like speaking in spanish, exhibiting body language of uber cool guys). At the same time, he is best at doing mass stuffs (the Kevvu Keka baba step in this film for example). The character of Gowtam Nandan has given him a chance to exhibit his full range of acting and entertaining skills. He has given his career best performance in the climax of this film. Entertaining crowds comes naturally to him and he delivers the finest entertainment in this movie. His dance movements are entertaining and hilarious in some songs (especially Kevvu Keka baba song).
Others: Samantha's golden leg' run continues with this film as well. She has done very well. There is less of a romance angle in the film. But Samantha made she that she hogs limelight in all the scenes she is in. Praneetha has done a nice job as a modern girl who is forced to be traditional. Bapu gari bommo song is shot on Praneetha. Boman Irani is excellent as an ailing grandfather and entire film runs on him though his screen space is less. Nadiya is dignified in a key role and her performance becomes an essential to make this story work. Rao Ramesh is excellent as a father and he is growing big as an actor from film to film. MS Narayana is cool and entertaining as Pawan's assistant. There are a couple of powerful and heart touching dialogues given to him. Ali is good as a male nurse. Brahmanandam entertains again as Bascar who instills an award called Bascars (to compete with Oscars) to award himself for his film Radiator (inspired by Gladiator). Mumtaz and Hamsa Nandini did an appearance in a club song. Posani Krishna Murali did a financier's role. Dr Bharat Reddy gets an important role and justifies it. Mukesh Rushi plays a dignified role of Pawan's father. Devi Sri Prasad gives a guest appearance as himself in ninnu choodagane' song.
Story - screenplay - direction: It's a simple story of a guy who wants to unite two families. What makes this simple story work is the setting up of backdrops and treatment given by Trivikram. Trivikram has a finest class taste. He has implemented all his worldly knowledge and taste into creating characters and writing dialogues. He has also made sure that there is loads of entertainment and right sentiment in key scenes. The dialogue writer helps him in getting the mood of scene across to the audiences with humor dialogues and sugar-coated message-oriented dialogues. Trivikram has exploited the strengths of Pawan Kalyan to maximum extent to entertain us. There are over 5-6 key sentiment (family oriented scenes) that bind the entire story. He filled the rest of the story with pure entertainment. Though we laugh with crowds in entertainment scenes, it's the family oriented scenes that stays with you when you come out of the theater. 
Other departments: Music by Devi Sri Prasad is excellent. The background music is so good that you will not notice it (which means that bgm goes with flow and don't dominate it). All songs are well scored and excellently shot. My personal favorite is ninnu choodagane'. Kiraak song has excellent steps in it. Aradugula bullet song sets the tone to the film. Bapu Bomma is classy. Cinematographer Prasad Murella surprises you with an outstanding cinematography. Dialogues by maatala mantrikudu' Trivikram form the heart of the movie. The right dialogues touch your heart at the right moment. ekkada neggalo kaadu ekkada taggalo telisinodu goppodu' dialogue during climax stands as a testament. Art director Ravinder Reddy has done fabulous work with house set erected in Ramoji Film City. A guy sitting beside me was asking where that house is located. Action sequences choreographed by Peter Hein are excellent and entertaining. Editing by Praveen Pudi is smooth. Production values by Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra (BVSN Prasad) and Reliance are excellent. 
First half of the film is superb and second half is equally good. Pawan Kalyan's performance and Trivikram's excellent story telling skill makes sure that your heart is touched at times and heartily laugh all the time while watching the movie. Pawan Kalyan redefines the entertainment value with his performance in Atharintiki Daaredi. Trivikram entertains classes as well as masses equally. Go and watch the film in big screen to get entertained along with the rest of the crowds!! SAY NO TO PIRACY!!!
