good evening ladies and gents, we had yet another interesting, emotional and awakening episode of Aek chabi.

i wanted to ask bunch of questions about what you guys think of the show and other usual things, but the end of the show took me to another thought and i wanted to see different views of this issue.

SUmmery of the epi: mahua leaves the house but mauli calls and she stays back. the ladies disscuss their dreams. rahul's mother's dream is to give 10th's exam.

the issue i want to disscuss is how do you feel that in rural parts of India there are still injustice being done with girls. they get married at the age of 10. girls are not allowed to study while guys can study as much as they want. girls are held back by baundries while guys can reach the sky without limitation. why the limitation only for girls? the actual question is why the limitation at all? wouldnt it be better to have a coutnry where there is no illiterate child.

why do you think this happens? what is going on in the parents head that tehy do not let their own child study what is it that makes man stop women for reaching out to the star? is it because they dont have the knowledge of the growing world and changing unequality between men and women.

i think today there is nothign that a girl can not do that guys can do. girls are equally smart and talented as guys are. then why are there still unequality. why do always girls have to suffer and throw theri dreams down the gutter? why do guys get to dominate over the girls while some of the women just sit at home in a corner and suffers?

i want you guys to tell me how you feel about this issue. what do you think should happen to change this type of thinking. do you think government should do something? do you think that today's youth of india should step forward and awake people and their thinking so many more kids can study?

this week i want you guys to put your self in to the parents shoes who do not let their kids study especially the girls. then i also want you to put you self into the shoes of the kids who suffer because they are illiterat and please please please do share your thoughts.

i will eagerly awate your responses.

till next time😊

enjoy😊

Yaa u r right....this is a very serious issue in India but with time things r definitely changing....now even in villages girls r studying so we cannot say that india is still illiterate....yaa in olden times parents in remote area did not allow girls to study as many reasons...first being the girls & boy difference in the SAMAJ(Which is by GOD's grace changing now...so thankful)2ndly parents did not want to waste their money on girls as they knew that they would not go out & do jobs & earn money & get them so they used to feel its better to educate the boys in the family so that atleast they can go & earn some money....many people aslo thought that educating girls would be later a worry for them to find a husband for them.....& i feel that people also wanted girls to stay inside the house just listen to men ...so if they were educated they would start speaking which the dominating MEN did not want.....
U know they r endless reason why people & what people though abt girls in olden time but times has changed drastically so u can see a better IDIAN NOW

i dont see any changes in rural area of india until today. i went back this summer and still poor is poor and rich is even more rich. still in poor families girls get married by the age of 16 and they go to school but just for the name they instead to work at people's house like cleaning dishes and washing clothes because theri parents are too lazy and drunk to get off their lazy butts and do some work while their kids go to school

Hi Zarna, I really appreciate your effort.I also feel that way.Few yrs back I was asked in an interview, why there are so less woman in jobs and I replied that they will do jobs if only men will allow them to study.Sice childhood they are tought that study is not for girls.Though Governments have taken steps to encourage girls development but I feel the scenario can not change until the mentality of our society doesn't change. Our so called society of males knows that if girls come forward they won't have anything to suppress them. They know in their heart that girls are far far better than them thats why they keep on suppressing them.

Dear zarna,

Its great to hear from you guys....here is something, why don't you guys start discussing stories. you guys want to see in the series...you all know the characters, their traits...you can think of some ideas, put it on the post, these ideas can be original, or inspired from old film, books....we will discuss those, and then give it to the writers, I also assure you guys that I will give credits of the story idea in the opening titles of the show....let me know, I guess this way we can all participate in the show....

Hey ppl

well according to me...the whole issue about getting girls married at a young age arises because the parents themelves aren't educated enough to understand. From their point of view, what they are doing is right because that's how things have always been working in Rural India. Getting girls married at a young aage has sort of beacome a tradition. I'm not defending the actions but i'm just saying the parents do this due to lack of proper education...what's the point of runnind ad's on Tv about not get you daughetr married at a young age..they run these ad's in Metropolitan cities...how will that help??

I think the Govt can help in this by promoting eduction facilities in Rural parts of India. Run programmes by getting a group together and sending them around villages to educate them. Education is a basic infrastructure and that's where India lacks.

thanx 😊
