Finally.

TVD returns, and quite shockingly it was awesome. I was not hoping it to be that great, I was just interested in Delena. BUT. WOW. Delena was more than great and awesome. Damon in love, happy for once is just...WOW! They are so happy. And ADMIT IT, from 1X01 I have never seen Elena Gilbert so freaking very happy, she was actually very happy and fun and carefree for once. I have never seen her like this. Damon Effect. 😳 😳 BUT the part that took me here saying it aloud was Deremy. GOD. My feels...not in control.

I have always loved Deremy, no wonder they are living in same house, and now here comes the part which melted my heart. *Spoilers* Damon saving almost dead Jeremy, calling him Jer, hugging his head and take a breath of relief that Jer is alive and not caring that key to find Stefan, Katherine ran away, he is just relieved that Jeremy is alive and okay. GOD! That feels...

Oh..and I could not just avoid Silas, him acting in town like he is God, come on...I liked it. Until Stefan comes with his usual crisis about humanity and switch and bloodlust blah blah like same old issues, I am gonna enjoy Silas. 😆

Oh. Caroline aka Queen of SE fandom, she was very nice and felt very bad for her as Tyler did not came. I used to ship Forwood but now I don't think so. Tyler's character is just there for use when plot needs him, or else they take him for granted.

Nevertheless, I am as happy as I can ever be with TVD. This was the best premier and now I think 4x23 was the best finale ever and 5x01 was the best premier ever.

I care about my little Gilbert family which includes Damon, Elena, Alaric and Jeremy. Though, Ric was not there, I loved Damon, Delena and Deremy. I think I am gonna love this season, obviously coz Delena is officially together and I have got bonus, Deremy.

I was slightly disappointed, actually.

I mean, I think I just expected too much. In the beginning it was AWESOME since it was just DELENA but then she left and it was only disappointment.

Katherine and Damon scene was disappointing. I understand Damon loved Katherine once upon a time but still, disappointing!

Then Silas roaming around as stefan was okay only.

In college, Elena and Caroline and Megan bit I still haven't got properly, there's obviously more to it.

And even the end was... normal. Bonnie's dad died. So? We have like 0% bond with him. We barely knew the man. He dies. Bonnie is dead.

There was nothing BIG! There is nothing which is making me WANT to see the next episode that minute!

That's why, disappointing. Hopefully this season will get better.

You do know that they can't give whole lot of Delena for 42 minutes, right? 😉 They will give it in piecemeal. Just wait. I am already scared coz you know Damon is happy, real happy for the first ever time and nothing terrible happened yet. So, until that bad things happens between Delena, I am gonna enjoy this little happiness.

And Bonnie's dad? WHO?!!?!?! 🤣

I don't even care. Who lives and who dies. I have plenty of reasons to continue with TVD like Damon and of course Delena. 😉

Oh. And I actually liked Silas-Stefan. Elenaless Stefan is nice. I am gonna hate once real Stefan will come out from water, and start with usual 'life-is-about-him' lines. For a change, this Silas-Stefan acting like he is God is interesting. 😃

Tyler sucks. And I feel bad for queen of SE fandom, but I can't do anything as Klaus got his own show, poor Care...I think Steroline would make best pair, they are so good friends, they should be together.

5x01 was better than any premier, 101 aah..apart from Damon part, I did not like a thing. Not even Elena. 201. Well. Damon part was WOW. Then poor SE dropped it for me. 301. Okay. Delena part but Andie died. I did not like that at all. 401. SUCKED. Literally sucked. Worse premier ever.

Comparatively, 501 is good, coz all my fav characters are there, happy and living and contributing to the plot. 😳 😳 Trust me, it will get better. Just DO NOT EXPECT much, way to happiness. 😉

I agree about Silas as Stefan because Stefan just pisses me off. Totally! I LOVED Delena and ofcourse I'll keep watching the show for them and ofcourse I loved the Deremy part.

Just hope the coming episodes are better!

Loved the premiere to the core ❤️

Delena together...wow

Every single Delena scene made me feel like dancing like mad

Loved Damon and Jeremy's bond

I am totally in love with this new Elena

However, Caroline, who used to be one of my favorite TVD characters, seems a bit mean

Still I feel bad for her that Tyler's not coming back

Love the way Bonnie's still an integral part of the show

Although it's Delena forever for me, I am missing Stefan

Overall, an awesome episode

Eagerly waiting to watch the next one 👍🏼

Madzz🤗 , you rock girl and agree to every word you said. And the premier was high above to our expectations, but tvd showed up with flying numbers, felt like a fresh show.

I will be sharing my thoughts too, first I wanted to post this. Thoughts on Damon Jeremy from tumblr.

DJ is very much legal and logical just like any character in the show, just need to be open and less hatred toward Damon.

So to everybody, that is still surprised, or calls this episode OOC. Maybe you wouldn't be so surprised, ifyou actually watched the damn show.

Maybe if you didn't waste your time on hating on Damon, and if you watched the show, you would remember that Damon was one of the first people in this show (along with Alaric), who had actual conversation with Jeremy, while he was being insolent teenager, and he can't communicate neither with Elena, neither with Jenna, neither with Matt (not to mention Tyler, Bonnie or Caroline). Maybe you would realise that it was Damon who had normal conversation with Jeremy at that time. If you wanted to think about it A BIT more, you would probably understand that they "clicked" not because of video games, but because how similar Jeremy was back then to human!Damon, not only when it comes to storyline, but also when it comes to how they were reacting emotionally for what was happening around them and how they both became outsiders

If you tried to look past your hate, you would see that Damon was the first and ONLY who was interested in Jeremy when Anna died. You would see that he came to Jeremy only to tell him about Anna's death, because it was his job to do and kid had right to know. And because he understood what this youngster feels, because 150 years ago he felt the same, when they "killed" Katherine. If you watched the damn show, you would remembered that Damon, even back there, when his humanity was still shaky, cared enough about Jeremy, to come to Gilbert house ONLY FOR HIM and propose him to erase his pain. And he didn't do it for Elena, to save her trouble or something like that. He gave Jeremy choice, because he was there too, and he understood.

If you weren't so busy "remembering" DE fandom about JNSI, you would probably notice that right after JNSI there was important scene, in which Deremy were actually bonding over his similarities and after which Jeremy got totally over JNSI. If you actually watched the show, you would realise that Jeremy was the first, who forgave Damon...

THAT WAS BY FAR THE BEST Deremy rant I ever read. And I LOVED it to the core. ❤️ Some people are just blind or what can I say? Stupid spoiled teens! 😆 😆 😆
