Did Jagya ask Ganga if she wants to marry - Page 2

Jagya did not ask Ganga if she wants to marry or even if she loves him. Lal Singh has told him so, but Lal Singh assumed that Ganga loves J just because she was pleading to save his life and she would die if anything happens to J. She never told that she loves J. Lal Singh should have thought that since J saved her life, Ganga is indebted and is willing to return favour- it may not be love but gratefulness. Based on this assumption and his own love, Jagya just filled up Ganga's maang - he felt no need to ask her. This is just male chauvinism he wants to marry her so he has that right to go ahead and fill up her maang - it does not matter what other people will say - what even Ganga will say. It is not even marriage in the eye of society.

i agree with @Skelpbun...sindoor daan has become a joke...and for Jagya like @Ankit111 said the way to escape his problems...marrying Ganga may have escaped him form the torture of Saanchi and Ira but if he would have firmly put his stand that he does not feel positive about this marriage and he does not want to marry Saanchi from start he could have saved everyone from this mess...he should have shared his doubts with Bhairon the sensible one...if needed made a drama like Saanchi to not marry or will kill himself if someone forces him 😉

Jagya should learn some tricks from sanchi to outwit her.😆

Jagya yesterday - explained that he broke it off as he wanted the blame to fall squarely on himself and not his family. being a TV show - he got called away to Mangalore - else he had fully planned to disclose all that had happened. He has forgotten to tell them about the dates too - that Anandi told him about.

he didnt ask her but he knows that she ll be happy with this relation...

I understand. But they are peddling a wrong notion that silence/lack of protest means yes.

Though in the show they had given many signals of attachment to each other. Still the way serial showed it I didn't find it acceptable.

It is however, true that in their desperation to want a virgin bride for their "ghar ki so called izzat " nothing Jagya says will make any difference to DS and Sumi !! they both have gone stark raving mad in their virgin bride search.

But J needed to do do what he did. Simple reason - Sumi had full intentions of running Ganga out of the town with her insults - unless Jagya gave her the "rishta" that Sumi was barking about.

Also - now - if Sanchi trying some stupid stunt like hurting herself or slitting her wrists etc - Jagya cud have again been forced into marrying her.

But now - Jagya has closed that door and locked it firmly !! This is what is upsetting both the houses so much. Jagya has left them no option but to accept his decision irrespective of whether they still chose to love him or reject him.

Jagya has been BOLD - the anti-thesis of what Anandi has been so far. Maybe A can take some lessons in courage from him.

Agree with you, hooked. Now that you reminded of the muhurat dates, I feel that is something that can make DS change the side and blame Sanchi herself for the rishta tootna, coz she got herself engaged to Jagya on inauspicious date. In Ds' mind this all can be outcome of galat muhurat.

Jagya did not formally propose Ganga, yes, but he was fully aware of her feelings, thanks to Lal Singh. The incident was very hasty due to series of events that happened beforehand.

If he had ample time, would he not let things go smoothly?
