Character Sketches of Groom- Jagdish, Bride- Ganga, and their Son- Mannu

Groom- Dr Jagdish Singh AKA Jagya

The lucky groom is the much in love Dr Jagdish Singh. Jagya was married off to Anandi when he was just a little boy. As a college boy, he developed feelings for Gauri and married her. Both those marriages failed and Jagya learned several humbling lessons as a result. Jagya used to be naughty, cheerful, and spoiled. Now mature, calm, dignified and totally redeemed Jagya found himself completely alone, until one day he stumbled upon a broken girl named Ganga. Jagya's relationship with Ganga has slowly grown from one of a caretaker, to mentor, guide, benefactor, and friend. As their bond strengthened, very little needed to be said between them. Underneath it all, Jagya began to develop feelings for Ganga which intensified when she was separated from him, eventually forcing him to confess to himself that he was in love. The rest, as they say, is history.

Bride- Ganga

Jagya's lucky bride is Ganga. Ganga is now a nurse and has seen more of the world, but when she entered, her life was full of pain and frustrations. Another victim of child marriage, she had an abusive husband and cruel inlaws. Jagya helped her to rehabilitate and she began to look up to him and worship him like a God. Ganga is courageous, selfless, brave and daring. She's also intelligent, wise, but has shades of innocence and childlike playfulness within her. When Jagya said yes to Sanchi for marriage, Ganga realized that her feelings were deeper. She realized she loves her Dr Sa. They got separated but the feelings remained unchanged.

Son- Mannu

Mannu Ganga's son from her 1st marriage. Mannu is small, friendly, adorable, naughty and always happy. Ganga lives for Mannu and Jagya has also grown extremely attached to him.

After lots of difficulties Jagya's family accepted him as he is now a changed man.But it was very difficult for him to forget his past mistakes.As he was emotionally shattered he tried to start his redemption by serving the people of a village named Laxmiganj as a doctor.One night he was sitting in front of bonfire at that moment he saw a girl running with her baby.They bumped into each other.Jagya and Ganga met for the first time.

Despite of lots of struggle and almost facing the death Ganga had to loose Mannu to Ratan singh her ex husband but Jagya brought her with him in badi haveli.Finally Mannu was brought by Anandi and ganga got her son back.Ganga helped Jagya to forget his past and adviced to move on and Jagya took her advice in the right spirit and started moving on.On the other hand Jagya helped Ganga to dream once again,to live her life with her son Mannu.

Between the two of them it was Ganga who first realized her love for Jagya.The first time ganga realized something different when Jagya came to her room to check her wound when she was attacked by the goons who attacked her thinking her as Gehna.When Jagya touched her to see her wound her expression changed and she felt something totally different.She didn't realize it was love but her expressions said it all.

Hearing it was Jagya's birthday Ganga was super excited and did everything possible to make her dactarsaab happy.She even made a beautiful cake,a chocolate cake which was Jagya's favourite.She performed on a beautiful song also in his birthday and her dactarsaab cut her cake first before Sanchi's one.When Jagya was attacked by goons of Ratan Singh and was brought back home one day Sanchi and Jagya was talking and Jagya was laughing at Sanchi's jokes,looking at them Ganga felt bad and she realized she is falling in love,her feelings for dactarsaab is more than just concern and gratefulness but she went in front of Devimaa and apologized and rebuked herself for thinking that way.

When Sanchi revealed to her that Shekhars not only came to celebrate Jagya's birthday but also they were present to talk about Jagya and Sanchi's rishta that moment Ganga realized tears were there in her eyes.She went to the washroom and was trying hard not to cry as it was a good news but she declared how can she give her happiness to some other person but then decided to ignore her feelings for her dactarsaab.Jagya got engaged to Sanchi and Ganga left Jaitser and went to Manglore to become a nurse.

Jagya couldn't went to Manglore with Ganga because of his engagement but he decided to visit her and unknowingly he chose a very auspicious day that was Teej.After spending couple of days there with Ganga and Mannu Jagya decided to return to Jaitser but Ira invited him to Udaipur to meet them and Sanchi.In between Sumitra,Sanchi,Ganga everyone asked him whats his relatonship with Ganga.Jagya had no answer as he was doing all this things for Ganga without any hidden intentions but when the fourth person that is Anandi asked him the same question Jagya realized he has fallen in love with Ganga but decided not to tell her,not to tell any other person.

Jagya decided to forget Ganga and thought of completing his MS in Mumbai thinking it will be easy to forget Ganga for him and proceed marrying Sanchi.He started talking less with Ganga through phone.But even after six months he was not able to forget Ganga.Jagya got to know from his friend Lal Singh that Ganga also loves him but he said it was too late and his love for Ganga will destroy everyone's happiness.

Jagya decided Ganga will not return to Jaitser and informed her that he has talked to his friend and arranged a job for her in Jaipur.Ganga understood her dactarsaab's dilemma and informed him that she got a job in Manglore and she will live in Manglore from now on.Jagya didn't get that Ganga was lying.He thought from now on Ganga doesn't need him.

From that day they drew a line between them.They thought they were never meant for each other.But Almighty gave the signal that they are made for each other when Jagya filled Ganga's maang with his blood.Jagya doesn't know about it,Ganga didn't give attention to that small incident which was indeed a sign of Almighty.

Now they are going to get married.Jagya will confess his love to Ganga and will fill her maang once again and they will be forever together.A girl who never believed any man and a boy who failed in every relation he had in his past.This two imperfect persons will have a perfect relationship together when they will get married.Its not possible to part ways when you are destined to be together,isn't it?

Dr.Jagdish Bhairon Singh will get his true companion finally and he will be the best father no doubt.

Ganga will be finally called Mrs.Ganga Jagdish Singh.

Our Mannu will be Mannu Jagdish Singh...Awww...The perfect family...
