Let's talk about KiSha first. I was a little frustrated with KD's thought process regarding the elections and his stand on it the past week. But today I got to know just what he actually feels and what he wants to achieve and I'm all for him. The way he didn't hold back and gave Kiya his piece of mind, BRILLIANT! Fahad was amazing in the scene! 👏 His frustration, his reaction; it was all well deserved. I was cringing that he refused to get out of his inferiority complex a few days back and while today he did twist Kiya's intentions just a little bit, his one line that deep down even Kiya knew she was doing wrong made me sympathize with him. His complex is deep rooted like Shazzy says and it would take time. If not anyone else, he'd expect his girlfriend to support him on that. His feelings that he thought Kiya would be proud of him for all this efforts were not wrong. While Kiya's intentions were right, her way of doing it was wrong. But, her thinking that KD is making it an ego issue because it was she who helped him and not Piddi was also a little right. Then again, I am all with KD on this issue. Something broke between them today. Let's see if it will be fixed or not.
RV. ABOUT TIME! That's all I can say. While I am not sure I completely support him, him reaching to a breaking point was always just around the corner. Always he has to count his words, always he has to be understanding, always the Buddies have to consider KD in everything while KD refuses to get interested in a proper solution! How long would someone like RV tolerate it? Their peronalities have always been at a clash and sooner or later, this point had to come up. Which side should compromise? And since it's their ego in question here, the WHY would also be in equation? Why should only I compromise? That 'why' came up today. And it came up brilliantly.
Rukmini was the sensible one today, she got to talk and she made every word count. Buddies are family as RV claims. And in family when one person is wrong, others have to make that person understand rather than act childishly and stretch the issue. She asked RV to be the bigger one and had RV been in his calm senses, he would've realized that she was right. But the point is, he was at his breaking point. No amount of logic will do its job when a person is being controlled by temper. Result was the same, RV has put his game face on. KD wants competition, he'll get one. Let's see if RV will stand true to his words or will think his decision through when he is calmed down.
Avi. For me he's a vamp though the words "shrewd, cunning fox" do him justice. He is enjoying this drama and can't blame him. Like I said, he was sick and tired of being second to Buddies. Now it's his time to enjoy drama, of seeing the facade fall apart. How strong is strong when the storm hits? A storm has hit Buddies, right at the weakness. How long can they survive? While I loathed his satisfied smirks and rubbing salt in wounds, that one line he said to Panchi had me dancing conga.
"Tum ne kabhi socha hai ke tum hamesha Ranveer ko blindly support kyun karti ho?"
Bang ON!! His cold words, her speechlessness and Rukmini's shock. My fav scene of the episode. We've seen Rukmini's insecurity a couple of times before when it comes to RaHi but it was a different hit when she heard Avi voice out her insecurities like that. Panchi's clear avoidance of subject made her feel even more scared. And Avi's calm determination worsened the situation. Why is it that his girlfriend point blank refuses to support him when he makes things personal but she easily turns a blind eye when her best friend does the same? What, friendship? Bullshit. Avi is a broad minded person but at the end of the day, he's just a human who doesn't like coming second in any manner. This is the first time he has questioned RaHi's proximity. And I don't think he will let go of it soon. Am I wrong to say that I see a heated confrontation coming? oooh! That'd be freakin' awesome!!
On a downside, I've already seen Panchi been questioned a lot, by us and by fellow characters. For once it'd be nice to see RV being questioned like this. Khair, let's see. I won't be disappointed if things are same as they always were. With her just one step ahead in feelings while he stands firmly on the line
JJ is JJ. You can't beat him. Loved it how he verbally slapped KD on the face. While he says that KD so easily tore apart KiPi's hard work, the underlying meaning meant that KD so easily broke apart a friendship and family which JJ worked so hard to make and maintain. No one gave KD that right. JJ showed KD a mirror and now it's upto him if he'll clean it or break it apart.
