Aftr all he iz not dat good of a singer.. otherwise he would not have been in danger 4 times(includng this time) n every time he was saved by his friends... dat show how much confidence da faculty n janta have in him...

Even when Qazi was not in danger n shamit was the janta chose Rex n not Shamit... 😆

I just finished watching today's episode of FG (for us NRIs), and I was so shocked at the way Ila told Shamit that the only reason she saved him was because the friends had already called on Shamit's name. That was so unfair - how can she discourage Shamit like that?! Shamit deserved to be saved, he sang very, very, very well. I thought he sang better than Arpita, but since the Judges chose her, I think the faculty should have happily saved Shamit because he deserved it - not because the other students had said he should be saved. The way she said it was very blatant and rude, and I felt for him when he started crying. She did absolutely nothing to boost his courage, instead she totally discouraged him. And then she said "I didn't mean to hurt you". Ha. Hurt was interwoven in her every syllable, and I bet she knew that. That was very mean of her.

I am not a shammit fan but I agree that Illa was extremely rude to him and poor thing had good reason to break down and cry like that, and to top it all he DID sING very well, he was outstanding wow!!!!!!!!!! I thought it was very bitchy of illa to have said all that and she was being blatantly unfair, I feel for shammit and hope he doesnt get discouraged. We all have our favorites but at the same time we cant forget that all of us and them are human beings and we all have hearts, feelings and nobody has the right to hurt someone like that.

janta doesn't save him cuz they still think hwe plays politics but i don't think he did anything like that. He is one of the best singer. I don't want to say anything after that.

most of his fans r in USA...i wish we could vote too...

Let's put his [very good] singing talent aside for a minute, and consider what Ila told him. You can't honestly say that she said the right thing, because she definitely didn't. She did nothing but discourage him - she told him that she didn't choose him on basis of how well he sang, but rather because all the students had said that he should be saved. In that way she is saying that she does not believe in his talent. Could there be anything worse for a student to hear from his guru? I don't think so.

I am not going to argue abt how good a singer Shamit is. It is evident that he is terrific, he performs well too. But leave that apart, it is not fair to speak like Ila did to anyone, no matter how little talented he might be. And certainly not to Shamit, who truly doesn't derserve all the pain he is getting.
