Its a known fact that Punar Vivah is being dubbed in many languages including Tamil ...Recently , there has been an article on Kratika Sengar in Kumudam ( A weekly Tamil magazine). I have tried to translate the interview from Tamil to English (without even changing the sense of each and every word ). So please ignore errors 😳😳
( The article begins with her introduction . )
Kratika , the popular Mumbai star, who is being keenly followed by Tamil Nadu soap - viewers . When Tamil serials are filled with tears and villianism , this girl gathers all the attention with her natural actions in the serial Marumanam ( Punarvivah in tamil ).
"Punar vivah was widely accepted in Mumbai . When I heard tha PV is going to be dubbed in other languages I really didn't take it seriously as I was not sure if the concept of re-marraige would be accepted by South Indians . Just two weeks after the telecast , I heard from Chennai that there is a great response . Then I realized that Women and Serials are two unseperable souls in Tamil Nadu . Many people have been appoaching channel via phone to know about me . The viewers consider Aarti as one from their own family . " tells Kratika (Native place - Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh ) ,who is well updated about herself, eventhough she lives in Mumbai .
"My dad was a government servant and Mom , a home maker . I have one brother who is younger to me . I left Kanpur and went to Delhi to study Mass Media and then to Mumbai for internship . It was then my life took a turn . With some conatcts , i got few opportunities to act in advertisements . And then i came to Television . After 'Jhansi ki Rani' and 'Punarvivah' gathered me fame , I have decided to stay in Television for now . " tells Tellywood's Number one actress .
Q1 : What else did you come to know about Tamil Nadu ?
I learnt that Cinema , just like serials , are given much importance in Tamil Nadu . I heard that people over here dont discrimate the artists as North and South Indians . I know a little about your Superstar Rajinikanth . No matter Karnataka , Mumbai and other regions claim him as their own , he is the soul of of people of TamilNadu. After knowing that his son-in-law (Dhanush) has stepped into Bollywood , I watched Ranjhana . Dhanush is also awesome . I also came to know that most of the Political Leaders in TamilNadu were actors .
Q2: Do you know that people in Tamil Nadu are against dubbed serials ?
Yes, I heard that too . And I was upset when I came to know that only artists do that . Art is something that doesn't have lingual barriers . It is ignoble to be against these things in a country like India , where people speak different languages .
Q3: Did you ever act in Bollywood ?
No ! I was never into Bollywood from the beginning because I had enough time only to act in TV soaps .But now , I wish to act in movies ;but not in Bollywood. I have started to wish to act in Tamil films after my co-actress Ragini Nanvani , made a debut in Tamil cinema by Thalaivaa . Similarly , after watching Ranjhaana ,I am getting dreams of acting with Dhanush .

P.S : Nothing typed above is my opinion . I have just stated what is given in the magazine .😊
I'll try to post few shots of the magazine .😃
