Few days passed by and Maan was getting more and more involved in his work. It was not just that he had to show what he was but he loved his work. He wanted to give his best shot there and was getting involved and involved in that. And to get best result he wanted things to be organized, on time and discipline and thus he was becoming the hard task master for those working under him. All staff in office who had initially took him lightly were still digesting his strictness in work.

Maan was busy these days like hell. He was working on Mohinder's project and was determined to give it best result. Raj wondered why Maan didn't even ask for project from him but their father -son ego was on high these days so just left it as it is.

"Mohinder, its such a big project and you handled it completely to Maan"

"Jalna kya hai, he is more ur son than mine"

But Maan ... things have gone into him like "junoon", he will make this project such a success that world will see and his Dad one day will himself come to give him the most important project.

He even was giving less time to Geet But as much a lover, Geet was his best friend too. She understood him so very well. And she was free these days and thus she would hover around him, taking care of his stuff, his food, his clothes as Maan these days was just lost in his work. For him just her being around would give him peace.

The other day Geet woke up and found her maid enter with bundle of mails for her. Ohh she had been sitting at home and have been applying at different places. Most of the letter is from the place she is not interested. So she casually checks her mails and then her eyes pops up "NASA".

It will be more than dream if she gets any call from NASA. What more can an aspiring scientist wish for.

She opened the letter and there it was. She could not believe she got appointment letter from NASA - Trainee scientist (reminder: this is just a fiction) .

Get was on top of the world, she did not know what to do. Her whole body was shaking with happiness.

She ran down to show it to her MOM. Her mother immediately went to make sweet in the celebration. "Mom don't say it to anyone, I will personally give the information. Main Maan ke paas jaa rahee hoon"

Her mother may look for her match but they respected her wish of career and thus she was happy for Geet.

Geet went upstairs to get ready to go to Maan. But then suddenly the biggest thing striked her - Will Maan let her go that far, how will they stay so far but again this job was also his dream. If he knows she left it for him, he may get angry... anyhow she has to declare it to Maan.

Geet reached KH enterprise and was on way to Maan's office when she saw him looking intently into the file his associate was holding. She stood in front of him when he have to look up.

"Geet? Abhi? Yahan?" Geet pouted, instead of welcoming her he threw questions on her. But she knew he was deeply involved in something.

"I have something important to show you" Maan placed hand on her cheek "Thore der baad OK, I am on my way to meeting" Geet made faces but then "OK, will be waiting in your office"

OMG how much her Maan has changed? How time and responsibility change person and show you the true worth of a person. Geet was becoming all deewani, anything he did, she was just falling more for him.

"Thorde Der" he had refered, what would one guess? Meeting would go for half or max 1 hr but here it was 2 pm and Maan had left for meeting at 10 am.

Geet's belly was now grumbling. She went to check on him, did he had his lunch or not, she got worried, did he work like this.

She went to the conference room where meeting was going on and Maan just came out and he was surprised to see Geet there.

"you are still here" "What do u mean by that, Offcourse I am, I said u, I have something important to share. Ok leave, did had ur lunch"

"Lunch kerlonga na, Ok I have 15 mints break for next meeting and I need my real break" and he gave her a look and held her hand to take her to his office.

Geet jerked her hand away "no, u r having lunch in this 15 mints" and she asked the canteen to provide food asap. Maan pulled her in his office and made faces

"Main canteen ka khaoonga? I wanna eat something delicious" and his hand softly moved to her waist, encircling her and then she was pulled to him in jerk. Geet just melted. How could she remember of her hunger or even anything when he has so possessively and passionately pulled her in his embrace.

They were lost in each other's feel completely when there was knock on the door.

Geet immediately pulled away but Maan pulled her to him, passion still full in his eyes "Maan it's ur lunch" Geet pulled away reluctantly as Maan looked at her with complaining eyes.

Attendent placed the food on the table and left. Maan looked at his watch "Geet u must be hungry, have this. I am getting late for the meeting coz of u" and he left, leaving Geet behind.

And when she realized, she made a big O face "I made him late, woo sab to usne suru kiya and I made him late" But soon she realized he went in meeting without having lunch. No she is not letting him do his work this crazily.

She figured out his meeting room and was soon there. Maan was shocked to see her there and so were other meeting members. All did not know Geet as she never came to office.. She gave him one stern look and then her fake smiles as other members were there. She went near him

"Take a break and have your lunch properly or I am feeding you here in front of all" Maan's eye popped up and he coughed with her weird idea

"hmm, everyone, There is an important issue so we need to hold this meeting for now and we can resume it after 15 minutes "

And next he was in his office, irritated as Geet fed him his food.

Maan left soon and then again Geet realize that she did not tell him about her NASA appointment.

Maan had thought that Geet must have left, he was so busy with all his work. He got free at 8pm and came to his office to collect some file and to call for end of the day. And there he found a most beautiful sight.

Even in sleep, Geet smiled at his touch. He bent down and placed a peck on her cheeks. Geet smiled, she was half awake now but did not want to. He was there and she wanted to enjoy his soft touches, it was making her drowsy.

Next Geet found herself lifted in his arms as he left the office

"Maan I have something to show you" she said still sleepy as he carried her

"First say, did you eat" "hmm pizza" she said still sleepy

"Mujhe canteen ka khilaya aur khud Pizza, not fair, now you have to pay" Geet smiled . As he made her sit in the car and she got well awake.

Geet got the letter out and handed it to Maan

Maan read it thoroughly "OMG Geet, I am so happy for you" but soon reality fell upon him

"But it means you will have to go" Geet just kept looking at him, letting him to decide everything.

Next: Maan's decision.
