This is the most regressive show going on at the moment. And it gets such high trps. I mean where are the women of today? Zoya was a carferee, nerdy, super-intelligent girl form New York, She did her own thing, lived life on her own terms, wore what she wanted. Now she's been reduced to this pathetic nothing of a woman.
How dare Asad and Ayyan decide who Zoya must live with? is she a toy that can be exchanged between them? I absolutely hated the fact that Asad dragged her by the hand and left her with Ayaan. You want to sacrifice, pl do. But how can you sacrifice a woman to whom you have sworn love without her consent?
And this nikhat thing is getting on my nerves. The girl was shown as mature but now she is intolerable. Why is she wallowing in self-pity and instead of slapping both the guys in her life and telling them she will make a career and live by herself. What is most galling is the fact that the show justifies the ill-treatment to her and her own pathetic response to it because she is dark They keep mentioning her skin colour over and over without one person refuting this shameful conduct. Her future mother in law thinks she should sell herself to any donkey that comes along because she is dark, She says it and the family members quietly watch it all.
Home come the audience doesn't say anything.? Why hasn't this forum protested about the repeated crying over a girl's skin colour?. In fact Nikhat is so beautiful, more so than Zoya I'd say. but everyone behaves as if she should be condemned to death because of her skin colour. Sick!!
