Episode opens with Prajapati trying to pacify Siddharth as he is cranky and refuses to fall asleep ... .. Finally he responds to melodious music ...
Mangala is very happy with the predictions made by Ashit Muni ... As it clears the way for her own son Devdatt becoming the king ... As Siddharth will become an ascetic ...
Mangala taunts Prajapati for failing in the duties of patni towards Maharaj being too engrossed in mothering the new son ...
Maharaj Shudhhodhan was angry n worried for future of Shankhya kul .. As after such a prolonged efforts, jap tap he had a son ... And the prediction that he was to become a Sanyasi ... Upset him ...
He seeks directions from his royal priest ... To help him over come the predictions by Ashit Muni ... He gets the directions .. To keep him away from karuna and maya which take him towards the vairagya .. Renunciation of the world ...King Shudhodhana creates a new Kapilavastu for the benefit of his son siddhartha .. So that he does not get to see any old age, hunger, poverty stricken , weakness and suffering ..
He calls a tatkaaal sabha ... emergency meeting of courtiers ...finalises the layout with the royal architects ...and orders evacuation of all poor , old, weak and diseased citizens from his capital ... For the sake of Yuvraj Siddharth ...
His queen Prajapati tries to persuade him against this .. The king is remains firm on his decision ... He was doing all this for his son .. Queen tries to convince him that she had some role in his upbringing too .. But he refutes her claims by saying that he was the janam data .. And he had more say in his son's upbringing than her .. This makes the queen very sad ... The royal announcements are declared at the town squares .. And created unrest amongst the citizens ...
All the citizens can not believe their ears that their loving could treat the people of his capital like this ...they all curse their king .. They curse their prince whose birth had first taken away their beloved Queen and then was forcing their elderly and the poor families ...
They curse their king that he would suffer the same that he was inflicting on his citizens ...for the one he was doing all this would leave him one day n go away ...The baby Siddhartha has tears in his eyes as he senses the suffering of the citizens ...
Soon there is a leap of five years and we gel the first glimpses of little boy Siddharth ... Whose entry is shown while he is rescuing an ant from drowning ...He is playing in the forest when he notices an ant ...
Then he runs into a park and stands there for the birds to perch in his head n shoulders .. Fearlessly .. As they trust they would not be harmed ...

Little Siddhartha is being treated for his wounds .. His friend arrives at the door . Sidd welcomes him inside .. But he is asked not to oncite him since the boy belonged to lower cast ..
But Sidd replies what was the difference ?? When he got hurt ... The same blood flowed out of his wounds too ...
Sidd is seen pacifying a rowdy elephant that jad been terrorising the city and causing destruction ..
