I think he could have..yes. Salman is good in those dark, brooding roles. It would have been a different portrayal but could have been just as good. But I believe Salman could never do the romantic roles of SRK.

actually Salman was offered the role first, but he dint do the film, God knows for what reasons 🤪 could have been a milestone in his acting career
