Similar story!!

Hope this is not another Uttran !!

Honestly I haven't seen Uttaran in its initial days, but so far it doesn't seem like it will be another Uttaran for the following reasons!
1. Actors in this show can act
2. There is no OTT "dhintanadhintana"
3. Characterizations are super realistic!
4. Rich people don't roam around in tons of jewelry, heavy sarees, and sindoor!

Never watched 'Uttaran' but I agree with you...I hope this show truly is different from others. I like all the actors on EMA, they can all act. Even bitchy Neetu is realistic. I love her Punjabi mother-in-law. Really hoping this show does not become saas bahu rona dhona nonsense like all the others.

Agree with you totally.
But somehow i feel it will be somewhere near to the show Uttaran. Although i have never watched Uttaran but have an idea of the story of the serial.
It can be assumed that EMA will soon turn into the story of two girls Pakhi & Kalpana.
