I would look at the intention to categorize it as betrayal or not.
If he and saanchi were intensely comfortable with each other and then some unforeseen hidden factor came to light, then fine, a broken engagement is better than a broken marriage any day.
Given that Jagya knew all about the intense incompatibility and his own feelings of dislike for saanchi way before the wedding date was fixed (and way before even the start of the six month period) , I would say yes, it was betrayal. It isn't that this revelation of saanchi at the restaurant suddenly threw him off balance. Rather, I would venture that he had already subconsciously been looking for a good "reason" to break it off, and he found this and used it.

I think the cards have only been chosen and about to be sent for printing in BV. They are not sent out yet.

.

Only the cards from sumitra's house have not gone out yet.
The girls side sent the cards out already two days ago. Ira and alok were talking with each other and they clearly said this. In addition, Ira said "hamey toh ab badhai ke phone bhi aane lagey hain"
