The song "Mere haath mein..." is exactly what came to my mind. But my heart lurched at the word "Fanaa"! If you recall after the Eid special, that's what I had pointed out: the word "Fanaa" bothered me in the song! Yes, AsYa will be separated for a long time, unless TRP aunties demand otherwise. Psst, heard you are contributing to TRPs! 😆 Can you tell me your secret? It pisses me off that I spend more time on this show than my mother in India, yet she contributes to the TRP while I don't! Actually she refuses to watch QH and is stuck on the #1 show. How do you affect TRPs from the US?! 😉 😆

I still can't get over the fact that everyone is trying to validate an invalid Nikaah.
If Asad loves his siblings more than his Zoya, then he deserves pain and suffering.
If Zoya can't speak for her rights, then she deserves pain and suffering.
If Ayaan can sacrifice Humeira for Nikhat, then he deserves pain and suffering.
If Humeira can stand by in silence, then she deserves pain and suffering.
What exactly are the brothers trying to achieve? Ayaan's cockamamie idea was to pretend they are married till Nikhat gets married and then what? Annulment? Talak? What about Nikhat after that? HB won't question why elder bro is marrying the younger one's divorced wife? Doesn't a divorcee have to wait for a period before she can re-marry? What's all the hullabaloo for? So Nikhat can marry Farhan? Watch the fun when he turns out negative while Imran treats Najma like a queen. Is that when Ayaan the hothead will turn negative and mistreat Zoya the bechaari (ugh, I hate that word now) to take "revenge" (senseless) from Asad the martyr? 😆
If Asad's plan is to "loan" Zoya temporarily while he "fixes" the issue, then he seriously miscalculated the situation. The elders are now going to trap them for a longer time. 😡
If he is emotionally reacting because he believes the Nikaah happened, then he needs lessons in his own religion. I read people complaining that Zoya was quiet. I disagree. After Ayaan left KM, she pleaded with Asad that it was a mistake and that she was not aware of what was happening. That means she consciously did not agree to the Nikaah, so it is invalid, irrespective of the fact that they are unaware that her father's name is wrong. He heard it but all he had to talk about was Nikhat's plight and that Zoya did get married. What was the point of saying Do you trust our love? Either he believes she got married or not! He's flip-flopping. He did tell Ayaan that "Mein is Nikaah ko nahin manta". He also asked them what they were doing there and asked Zoya how she reached there? Meaning the confused duo got to tell him what happened. Or at least partially. They just did not show it to us.
What in the world is wrong with Zoya? The woman who gave a lecture to creepo Rajveer about "when a girl says no, she means no", kept saying leave my hand Mr. Khan, I don't want to go. That's it? What if she dug her heels in or fell on the floor? Would he drag her harder? Couldn't she ask Dilshad for help? What if she said "mein marjaoongi"? As the writers are hell bent on showing (incorrectly) that a woman needs to attempt suicide to get her way, perhaps Zoya needs to take that route too and slash her wrists or swallow poison ( I am only being sarcastic). Then she can join the crazy SM suicidal group consisting of Humeira (pioneer of slashing wrists), Shireen (didn't she try to drink poison after the car burning scene?!) and Nikhat, (latest honorary member). Also, Tanveer hurt herself multiple times to get Asad's sympathies! Indeed very progressive women.
What about Dilshad? She doesn't deserve to know what happened? Was Asad right to leave her in the dark and embarrass her yet again in front of the maulvi and guests? For what? A misguided sense of responsibility toward siblings that care two hoots for him and call him sautela at the drop of a hat? 😡
I would have much preferred if they had shown Asad convince/plead with Zoya for a temporary solution till Nikhat got married. And then if it backfired, I wouldn't feel as betrayed as I feel today. Dragging a woman AGAINST her will is a big no-no. I dare any man (except my Dad) to try and do it to me. And I say my Dad because I know he would never do it. Nor would any man in my life. 😆
Too bad Zoya's guardians were not there. I would have loved to see how Asad would have dragged her against her will in front of Zeenat and Anwar. Today my heart cried for Zoya. Yes, she made a big mistake but the price she had to pay was too high and Asad and Ayaan do not have the right to decide her life.
My hopes are now only on Razia! Her love for Humeira will get her back in action. Time for Mangalpur, umm Gudiya factory part deux!! We have to get an "Aag" scene!
What will Asad do then??
P.S. What about Zoya's belongings?? Asad will pack it and drop by again in the morning?
P.P.S. I am not mad at Asad, Ayaan and Zoya. Only mad at the "not-so-"creatives!!
