Call me a sadist or a sucker for a good story and performances, but I liked today's episode. It was heart and gut wrenching. Even though the plot is contrived, the emotions are as real as they can get.
The significance of the song 'mere haath mein tera haath ho' and all those hand holding scenes between Asya came to the fore today when Asad dragged her with his hands to the SM
A number of questions I had yesterday were answered in today's episode. Just goes to show, I need to learn patience with this PH because they eventually give us a reason for most things.
I don't side with anyone nor am I bashing anyone today
Asad: He is heartbroken but all he did was what felt right to him. He dropped Zoya off to her husband's house. Even though he knows this nikaah is probably not valid, but till he can prove Zoya's innocence, he did what he felt was right. At least, this way he could save the immediate problem at hand i.e Nikhat's life and rishta.
His statement: kya hamari mohabbat par yakeen hai? -just shows that he hasn't abandoned her and will eventually figure out a way to fix the mistake.
Was he right in dragging her like that? NO! But that is AAK for you- passionate and irrational when he is upset and angry.
Zoya: Yes, she will be heartbroken. Will she ever want to return to Asad? Not right now. I have a feeling after Ayaan and Zoya say QH in front of the family and Qazis on Monday, Zoya will do her best to make this marriage work- her taah umr comment at play.
How will Asya get together? I don't know but I am sure they will because they are destined to.
Now that the twist has happened (albeit in an illogical manner), I have accepted this new track and look forward to the new stories in the serial.
The writers have a lot of meat to work with and I am looking forward to it,
Will Asad get married to Tanveer? I don't think so
Will Asad be sidelined? I don't think so. He will continue to support and protect Zoya from the outside but never abandon her.
