Hola all πŸ˜ƒ...I thought even this week will b wasted in Jalal not using his brains and Jodha putting the axe on her own feet by blabbering to Jalal without proper proofs and Mahamange hving last laugh πŸ₯±πŸ₯± but woww what a sudden turn of events with Thursday's episode where Jalal not only uses his own brains to find out the culprit without taking Ruqaiyya's advice but was quick enough to recognise those eyes too and conclude that Mahamanga only is the culprit πŸ˜²πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ .. The way Jalal asked that artist to draw the picture of the culprit as per the description given by the dibbi maker and then the way he instantly recognises that its Maham's eyes only makes me finally say our intelligent Shehenshah is back with a bang πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ .. Also I liked the fact that he dint fully disbelieve Jodha , reason why he actually goes to meet Rahim to enquire about what all he saw while taking the dibbi .. So somewhere he knew that Jodha was not lieing about Rahim πŸ˜‰πŸ˜›

This is what I wanted to see .. Jalal finding out the culprit on his own using his own brains like a true Shehenshah πŸ‘πŸΌ... When there was a debate on why should Jalal believe Jodha's words , I had same argument that Jalal need not believe Jodha's words but as a Shehenshah he needs to start his own investigations too rather than waiting for his army to find out the culprit when the culprit could b very much part of his own army itself ... All I wanted was to see Jalal in action doing the investigation without letting anyone know and I m so glad finally it happened ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Even though I m sure Mahamanga will once again go scotfree since from the last scene of today's episode its crystal clear that she already has a back-up plan hidden inside that secret door behind the mirror 😑 , but still I m satisfied with the fact that Jodha is being proved right and also Jalal finally got a brain of his own to successfully do the investigation πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Here r my top 10 observations from this week's episodes ..

1) Bharmal's words influenced Jalal to finally do the investigation on his own and find out the real culprit :

I feel the scene where Bharmal tells Jalal that as Shehenshah , he needs to set up an example for all with his good deeds and fairness so that in history people remember him as the fair and intelligent King was the major trigger point which gave rise to Jalal finally deciding to investigate the matter on his own and thus go in disguise of a old man all the way to the bazaar to meet the Dibbi maker instead of calling the dibbi maker in Mahal since he knew well that the culprit is someone inside the mahal only who can very well manipulate the dibbi maker and so he took this smart step like a true Shehenshah πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

After Bairam khan's death , Jalal actually missed that father figure in his life who could give him the right advice in times of crisis , but Bharmal this week took that place and gave a very practical and matured advice to Jalal πŸ‘πŸΌ ...

I guess even Jalal realised that this is not working where as a king I m simply sitting in my room waiting for the culprit to b caught and my two begums Ruqaiyya and Jodha r doing all the Jasoosi to find out the culprit which I should hv been doing it πŸ˜†πŸ˜†...

Also I feel after Jodha without any fear blamed Mahamanga in front of Jalal , though Jalal out of emotions blasted Jodha for it but somewhere down the line this was also a trigger point which made him realise that its high time I mysellf start the investigation so that the blame game stops once and for all and like Bharmal said in history noone dares to question me as a king πŸ€”...Today he even went to Rahim to ask him all the details about dibbi story which is another proof that somewhere inside Jalal's heart he always knew that Jodha was not wrong since she is same Bharmal's daughter who always gave him right advice

2) Jodha once again proved why she is a true Rajput who has loyalty in her blood πŸ‘πŸΌ

Thought at the start of the week I was a bit pissed off with Jodha for not using her brains and directly telling Jalal that Maham is the culprit without any concrete proof 😑 but Thursday's episode once again made me admire Jodha the way she defends her husband in front of outsiders ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved the way Jalal-Jodha track progressed this week when Jalal saw how Jodha defends the Shehenshah in front of outsiders πŸ‘πŸ‘ .. whatever grudges she holds against him in private is different but when it comes to outside people , she cannot hear anything bad against her husband or the Shehenshah .. sign of a true loyal Rajput blood πŸ‘πŸΌ... Also the way Jodha recognises Jalal based on that kadha he is wearing and then shows him the respect with her words by telling him that as a husband and a shehenshah ,its not right that u beg in front of me nor its right for me to give u any daan when u r only the anna-daata of this state 😳 , I can already see how Jalal instantly developed that respect for Jodha in his eyes yesterday the way he looks upto Jodha in awe and admiration, the moment she said those words to him 😳 .. Jalal might hv thought Jodha might b sarcastic or make fun of his disguise , but he was pleasantly shocked to see her loyalty there as a wife and the Begum of Agra ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️...

3) Mahamanga the wounded tiger .. Will she go scotfree again and strick back with a vengence ??

After watching the last scene in today's episode I feel Mahamanga will go scotfree again since she already has a back up plan in the form of her lookalike hidden behind that mirror wala secret door ...She must hv got this idea from Humayun's lookalike story 😑...Mirror scene itself was symbolic about how Mahamanga will use her own reflection image (lookalike) to once again confuse Jalal and he might then end up giving her a benefit of doubt

Even if Jalal is not fully convinced with lookalike story of Maham but in case Maham actually presents a lookalike in front of Jalal , then he will hv no option but to believe Maham's words and release her with full respect and apology ...

Precap is obviously misleading since Maham's innocent reaction in precap says it all ..Her expressions suggest as if she dunno anything 😑... Also this chapter might close with Maham's lookalike getting the punishment 😑... Mahamanga is the only negative force in the show , so CVs wont finish her track so soon for obvious reasons

Having said that I will love to b proved wrong and I challenge the CVs to do something different and let Mahamanga get punished .. She can always escape with her son's help but for once let justice b done instead of going with cliched lookalike twist 😊

In case Maham goes scotfree , then I m afraid she will b back with a vengence against both Jodha and Jalal this time

4) Jalal and his emotions for his 3 main trusted people . ...Bairam khan , Ruqaiyya and Mahamanga ..

First time I saw tears in his eyes was when he heard about Bairam khan's death 😭 .. Second time I saw tears of anger in his eyes was when he heard about the miscarriage of Ruqaiyya 😭 , Now third time I see tears in his eyes is when he finds out the betrayal of Mahamanga and the fact that she is the culprit

All 3 people Bairam khan , Ruqaiyya and Mahamanga are among his trusted ones ...This definitely makes Jalal a human who has a heart because as humans we break down only when it comes to our most trusted and loved ones only 😳...

In today's episode the way Jalal totally breaks down and remembers his childhood moments with Maham the way she saved him to the way she looked after him during his childhood was a beautiful moment and Rajat tokas was brilliant with his emotional portrayal πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Also the scene where Jalal all alone was walking through the corridoor of the Mahal was such a touching scene which showed how even as a Shehenshah he felt all alone that moment when his most trusted and loved one betrayed him 😭😭

Soon I see Jodha too joining that list of trusted people in Jalal's life 😳 .. Jodha might even has an extra edge there since Jalal will madly fall in love with her too πŸ˜‰πŸ˜³πŸ˜³

5) Will Jalal say sorry to Jodha ?? 😳

After all the misunderstanding is over from Jalal's side , the obvious question is will Jalal say sorry to Jodha for not trusting her or will he make up for it with his actions like the upcoming event on Jalal saving Jodha from tiger and in the process getting wounded 😭😳...

The way Jalal had all those flashbacks of Jodha telling him that Maham only is the culprit once he finds out the truth , tells me that Jalal will now go on a mission to redeem his picture in front of Jodha now and not trust anyone blindly ...

It will b interesting to see how Jalal's reaction towards Jodha changes from here onwards now that he knows Jodha was always right and its him who misunderstood her twice ..first blaming her for the miscarriage and second now believing her words regarding Mahamanga .. πŸ€”

6) Why did Mahamanga did the miscarriage in first place .. Is it to trap Jodha only or the reason is something else and bigger ?? πŸ€”

Even though Jodha was trapped in this whole miscarriage fiasco in a unfair way but if we look at it from the beginning , then miscarriages hv been happening even before Jodha came in Jalal's life πŸ€”...

So the main mission of Mahamanga in this case was not to trap Jodha .. She only used that kesar brought by Jodha's brothers as a means to mix the poison and feed it to Ruqaiyya so that later blame goes on Jodha and Amer as she knew well that Jalal will easily believe it , but her main agenda is to make sure Jalal never has any waaris so that later on there is a outside chance for her own son Adham khan to rule πŸ€”.. We even saw in Maham's own self-talks that she did all this for her son and not to take revenge from Jodha ..

If Mahamanga goes scotfree today , then this saga of miscarriages might further continue in Harem

7) Humayun and Lookalike mystry ..

I wonder why that scene was shown where someone was writing the history and Hamida begum mentions about Humayun's lookalike πŸ€”...Will that scene serve any purpose for future .. Is there any other mystry involved related to Humayun and later Jalal's birth ?? πŸ€”...

I m not too aware of the historical facts .. So mayb anyone knowing history well can put some light on this point 😳

For now I feel the whole Humayun lookalike story will b misused by Mahamanga and she might hv found her own lookalike from somewhere .. Though it will b a bit too filmy since one can hv lookalikes of kings , but a lookalike of dai-maas too in those times .. errr πŸ˜• .. but then this is a Ekta show after all who might prove even in that era plastic surgery was possible πŸ˜•πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£

8) Maharana Pratap's character is going a bit too negative

I wonder if in real history Maharana pratap actually cursed Bharmal and Amer in this manner because Bharmal and Jalal became relatives πŸ€”...Its true that Maharana pratap was always against Mughals but I dont think he ever went onto curse Amer or Bharmal in this manner

Is it Ekta's vertion in this case just because Maharana pratap is airing on rival channel and so CVs want to show the king in negative light ?? πŸ˜•πŸ˜•

It was rather funny and too OTT the way Maharana pratap with his troops was standing in front of Bharmal and his army , blocking their roads only to curse them and wish them bad luck regarding Sukanya's rishta πŸ˜•πŸ˜•... It will b better if CVs do away with Maharana pratap's character rather than butchering him as he was neverthless a grt warrior and positive person .. 😊

9) Rahim the messenger in Jalal-Jodha's relationship : 😳

I m loving the way CVs r using that cute little kid Rahim like a messenger between Jalal and Jodha 😳 .. The way Rahim informs Jodha all about Jalal keeping his promise after he told him the truth , gave such a huge sigh of relief to Jodha 😳 ... All thanks to Rahim , now Jodha knows about the developments and she is smart enough to guess that Jalal might hv gone to the bazaar in disguise in search of proofs 😎

Eariler too I remember Rahim was used like a messenger between both the way Rahim informed Jalal that he will b playing with Jodha tis evening and then Jalal decided to spend same evening with Rahim too followed by that pallu scene πŸ˜‰πŸ˜›...

10) Was Adham khan worried about his mother's life or his own position ?? πŸ€”

When Adham khan hears the truth from Shera , his first reaction was what will happen to my position if Jalal decides to punish Mahamanga .. So I feel more than worrying for his mother's life , he was more worried for his own life and power here .. Is Maham really doing all this for such a selfish son ?? πŸ€”

Even though he later went to Maham's room and showed some concern of a son by asking her to lets go from here before Jalal gets to us but again his exact dialogue was lets escape from here and raise a war against Jalal later on instead of telling his mother to first save her life ...

In short both mother and son r power hungry .. 🀒

Thats it from me .. I m super happy with the fact that Jalal found out the culprit with his own investigation , so even if Maham goes scotfree by presenting her lookalike out of nowhere , still Jalal cannot blame Jodha anymore and finally this MC chapter will see an end .. phewww πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

Looking forward to all your views 😳

Tfs. Very nice analysis. I also think that there is some bigger mystery hidden behind MM's act. There has to be some big logic, if she had to harm jalal then why she protected him?

Jyo !!!
I hope you don't MU my post like last time ! And then u didn't even read my reply to you ! 😑 😭
*holds mike*
Dil ke armaan aasu mein beg Gaye ! 🐷 *khronk khronk* *sniff*

Ok that is it ! 🀣

Looks like as mansi said the tiger articles weren't wrong but all this dragging is due to director syappa ! Is maiyya sitting in an island sipping madira for OUATIMD failure to let go 90 freaking people for one director ?! πŸ€ͺ
Khair ! All we can do is speculate!

I would just say welcome back Jalal baba ! 😎
He knew that calling the dibbi wala openly can alert the culprit so he decides to secretly approach him ! πŸ‘

The bazaar scene was
Neither did jodha lie about Jalal being a saint nor she told the truth about his jallad ... She was a true dignified princess who used her position to shut up those gossipers ! πŸ‘

I want Jalal to tease jodha abt this defense ! πŸ˜†

I sorely miss my Abdul ! In that painting scene ! Wish he could tell jodha about her painting ! 😭
Well how could they show Jalal so dumb if he was here today with him na ? 🀒

Poor Jalal ! Every time he trusts someone they break his heart again and again into pieces ! no wonder he was a mad bull with jodha since he goes beserk if you become disloyal to him ! 😑

This again takes me to a point: I hope we soon get a scene where jodha finally understands what Hamida has been tryin to tell her ! That Jalal's life has been full of betrayal ! It's not easy for him to love , trust and be close to someone as she thinks ! 😳
Or else Jalal's constant rants abt his BK and MA saving him from death serve no purpose after some repetition ! πŸ€”
I wish we can see this in next episode where jodha thinks how horrible it is to see your mother doing such a crime to you !

MA ain't going anywhere with her duplicate theory ! 🀒 but I think Hamida might hold on to this since Gulbadan has already warned her when MA whisked with the humayun idea and in future she will only catch her red handed like in the movie when she will harm jodha ! 😎

Destiny will play its part ! The woman who killed a baby of someone will see the fate of seeing her baby (adham) die in front of her that too due to Jalal ! 😲

Tiger needs to come soon ! I will chop CVs if I don't get a hug or patti scene by jodha due to it ! 🀣

Bharmal and co. too rocked ! Sukku was a surprise how instead o her old self blaming jodha she saw through her father ka vision that Ratan was itself not worthy of her minus Jalal ka intervention too !

Excited for Monday !

Jyo, brilliant write-up!πŸ‘πŸ‘
Thursday-Friday episode where just best in terms of revelations.😳 Finally Jalal used is own brain and investigate the real culprit.πŸ‘πŸΌ But have to give it to Rajat for his display of emotions which was outstanding. When he saw those eyes which clearly shows MA the shock, disbelief and pain was very well portrayed .πŸ‘πŸ‘

Maham has a back plan for sure..she was confident whille telling Adham she's going nowhere. So behind that door is her look alike. Let's see how she plays the innocent card. But this track has to end soon I've got enough of dibbi, dature and gunegar!πŸ˜†

Another wonderful analysis Jyo πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘...It was a delight to see Jalal going undercover and discovering Mahamanga as the culprit on his own πŸ‘πŸΌ πŸ˜ƒ

But he sure took his sweet time, I liked the advice that Bharmal gave him...Jalal respected his SIl's opinion and decided to take actions...Wow the scene in the market when Jalal was listening to Jodha defend him was an eye opener for the former 😳 πŸ˜›

As for Rahim yup he has been the bridge that brings Jalal and Jodha closer and IMO he will continue to do so throughout the serial πŸ˜‰

Mahamanga is sure gonna walk, she will create some drama and Jalal will let her go but I don't think that Jodha nor Ruquayya will believe her nonsense and like you said I too will be very happy when this MC track is over.

I can totally see Mahamanga taking revenge against Jalal & Jodha but she won't succeed and whatever she does she will just be pushing them closer to each other πŸ˜› πŸ˜†

BTW are we ever gonna get the tiger track??? Coz I'm dying to see Jalal risking his life to save Jodha and her taking care of him 😳 😳

Great analysis Jyoti...You covered everything...Now MA will use humshakal card and make Jalal feel even more guilty..for doubting her...

Overall I dont like this emotionally weak Jalaal...

I am also waiting to see if Jalal realises his mistake and makes up to Jodha?
I doubt it...

Jyoti, that was a fab wrap up of the whole week. I agree with the ten points you have highlighted as the top picks of the week.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜›

I just want to add three topics here as my high points:

1. Jalal takes top honours for the jasoosi

I completely second Jyoti in my happiness that Jalal is shown as the person who:

a. Took his own initiative in solving the murder mystery (nothwithstanding the words of Jodha and Rahim he sets out to verify facts on his own!)

b. Uses ingenuity in solving the mystery (that use of the artist to do that sketch was a surprise item for me, as I had forgotten that artist!)

c. Gets the top honours for actually nailing the culprit with finality (once he has overcome his own grief at finding his beloved mother-figure as the culprit!)

By showing Jalal in this way, the Creatives have done justice to his character, to my satisfaction.

Here I must emphasize that there are two ways to judge a fictional character in a serial. One way is to see if his actions fit the storyline and seem plausible, reasonable and believable in the story per se (or in this case even whether his actions are true to history, to a degree). The other way to judge a fictional character is to see whether he meets the audience expectations of what he should be. This second pattern is where we have viewers like Jyoti and me, I guess. Our objective is to not only see the reasonableness of the hero's character for its fit in the storyline or for life itself, but also to see the hero's character for its fit in our expectation set.

Unlike what happens in real life, where people can only watch what happens to others but not expect to identify with these other people so completely, when we watch a TV serial, the audience gets vested in what happens to the hero and heroine. For sustained TRPs, the hero and heroine of a story have to become as much a part of the audience's creative imaginations as they are the creations of the Creatives themselves. The serial really gathers TRPs at a prolific rate when the audience starts caring what type of a person the hero or heroine is shown as, because that the audience assumes an identification with the hero or heroine, and follows their personal stories almost as if the audience itself were in the story! The people we spend time watching day in and day out need to be people we like to follow because we like their personalities and can respect their personalities. This is the reason why I keep harping on why the Creatives need to show Jalal and Jodha as people we can like for who they are and what they do.

I was forever whining all of last week, because while hundreds of reasons could be found why Jalal's character seems to suit the storyline (his background as a child was sad, his anger is justified, his leaning on Ruq is justified, his trust of Maham is justified etc. etc.etc.), the character was not matching the expectation set of me, as an audience member.

Now that Jalal has been shown to have nerve, pluck, wits and the will to take matters in his own hands, and be pro-active and be ruthlessly unbiased when it comes to decisions, I like what I see of him! Finally! And I suspect this is exactly what Jyoti has also written about as her happiness at seeing Jalal using his own brains instead of always needing to borrow brains from those he leans on!

Eventually we don't even want Jalal to lean on Jodha instead of Ruqaiya. We want him to be his own man, because that is what we can respect in our hero and that is what we want Jodha to also respect! In the same way we don't want Jodha to bbecome a wimp of a womman forever leaning on her husband. We want her to also be her own woman.

Of course this point of view I have expressed above is not sacrosanct. Many people can like or not like a serial and its characters for various reasons of their own. I am only saying here that I have very strong individual reasons for seeing a serial and relating to its characters, and when I write my posts I voice my owns needs and expectations strongly so that the Creatives can hear me (and people like me) and factor our expectations into the storyline and characterisations.

2. Jodha-Jalal relationship poised for take off

The story is at an interesting stage now with respect to the Jodha-Jalal love story, I feel. The phase of antagonism has gone and a new phase seems to be ready to begin. In a way the Creatives were right, I suppose, in thinking that a dramatic upheaval is necessary to make Jodha and Jalal think differently about each other.

Lots of events have taken place this last week to push Jalal and Jodha in the right direction i.e. towards each other. I am not here trying to give every instance where I feel they have moved towards each other, but I want to point out the three big elements that, in my perception, seemed important:

a. The fact that Jodha got the inside information about Mahamanga's culpability and then tried telling Jalal about it but failed to make a dent on him - and then later he himself realised that what she was saying could be true and he verified this for himself with Rahim ... this augurs well for their rellationship going forward. It is better than a situation where she simply dictates truths to him or he blindly accepts what she is saying. The degree of difficullty involved in her getting the truth through to him will work in their favour. Difficulties create reasons for "learnings" from both sides, and "learnings" are more important to relationships than mere "salience" or "acceptance".

b. In a similar way, the fact that Jalal first made Jodha and her family baandhis and was later forced to release them because the dibbi surfaced as contra-proof has also helped push the relationship into a closer frame. If that element of negative judgement had not been there in Jalal at the beginning, his later humility would not have come to the fore either. Jodha needed to see that though he erred (and that showed he was human!), he had the innate ability to also be humble in his acceptance of the right when it was revealed to him. And he also did this U-turn in a dignified way without injury to his status as a King. When we are looking to her to fall in love with a man like Jalal, it would help her not just to see him in positive situations but also in negative situations - to see how he shows his calibre and mettle in getting out of the negative situation. Similarly Jalal needed to see how, despite being humiliated and angry at being in custody, Jodha later is also able to rise above it all to help him in the quest for the culprit and even emphasize his qualities to the praja at the city market. Both of them saw each other's swings from negativity to positivity, which was wonderful.

c. The positive role played by Bharmal and the Amer boys - and the negative role played by Maham - also helped the relationship. It showed Jalal the quality of upbringing that Jodha has, and this is as vital to his judgement of her as anything else, because context matters. I am reminded of that scene when at their wedding the priest asks them both to recount their gothras (family antecedents). Jodha merely says which gothra she belongs to, whereas Jalal made it his big declaration moment when he started saying he "hails from the blood of Genghis Khan, Babur and Humayun" and Mahamanga further added spice to this saying his antecedents are unmatchable. Here was a lesson coming to Jalal, that its not the remote ancestors but the more immediate upbringing coterie that matters more. Jodha comes from the lap of a family that values loyalty, humility and steadfast adherence to temperance as a mode of behaviour. Even if Jodha sometimes seems to be professing "ghrina", her behaviour at crunch times shows she is unable to sustain this "ghrina" because she has been taught against holding grudges and taking "revenge" in a ruthless way. Contrast this with Jalal whose upbringing was less than satisfactory (not his fault at all!) because his parents were constantly on the run and he had to be brought up by Bairam Khan and Mahamanga who later proved their weak moral foundations. Bairam was physically and mentally strong but had a blood-thirsty emotional streak which was often unreasonable. Maham was pure vile in a soft motherly form. Jalal needed at some point to see past his larger-than-life ancestors to the people immmediately around him ... and he needed to contrast his own immediate coterie with what Jodha had as a family ... for him to properly judge the value of his own coterie. This was vital to their relationship going forward for him to see their differences in upbringing and I am glad he got this opportunity. I am also glad Jodha got the opportunity to hear about his upbringing, for it must have revealed a lot to her about why he is what he is today!

I picked up on these three points above because I feel that the strength of a relationship depends more on learning about the "worst side of people" than just their good sides! The more you know and accept some one's bad points as much as their good points, the less room there is for future let-downs and setbacks in the relationship. There's also a lot of room for the two people concerned to "help each other work out their negative points" which bonds them even better than if they were merely to applaud each other's good points!

By the way the broken glass vase still hangs as an unclosed loop. Hope it will figure in the coming week!

3. The Mahamanga humshakal twist

Okay, here's a prediction. It's not new, many people on the Forum have already hinted they see the same angle.

I think the duplicate Mahamanga emerged from that surang and the real Mahamanga went underground. The duplicate Mahamanga is the one we see in the precap that Jalal pushes to the ground.

The idea of using her hummshakal in case she gets caught in this miscarriage saga must have dawned on Maham when Hamida was discussing the Humayun humshakal. She must therefore have kept her Plan B in readiness for the moment when it would be needed. Yesterday she knew that moment had come when she said "Waqt abhi aa gaya hai!" and opened the surang trapdoor!

(Jyoti, you are the symbolism queen. I love that symbolism of the mirror showing that her reflection was now taking her place!)

There was a very key piece of dialogue that Maham said to Adham yesterday when he told her to run away. She said "I want to see what decision Jalal takes". I think this is the reason she would have done the switch with her duplicate. It must be her idea to use this duplicate in her place for the grand midnight sabha and unveiling of the culprit. She herself would go out of sight and watch events unfold. If Jalal took the extreme step of killing the duplicate Mahamanga, it would be good for Maham that he was unable to kill the "real Mahamanga" and she would be safe somewhere in exile. Maybe the duplicate Maham is entirely dispensable! Maybe if Jalal kills the duplicate, Maham has to forever stay outside the palace thereafter and cannot show her face as she is supposed to be dead ... but nothing can prevent her from still pulling strings inside the palace via her son or her strategic henchman. If on the other hand, Jalal decides to give this duplicate Maham the punishment of "umar qaid" then the real Mahamanga can plot how to switch herself back into the palace and send the fake Mahamanga outside again for future use.

Personal safety was most important at this time to Maham, so she needed to put that duplicate in there to see what actions Jalal takes so that she could then plan her suitable countermoves. It would of course be good if she could re-enter the palace at a suitable time in the future and put that duplicate back in cold storage till needed. But even if she were conndemned to a life of exile (as a result of Jalal killing the duplicate) she would still be very much part of the disturbances inside the palace if she could help it. That must be her strategy. This is my reading of the situation.

I don't get this fake Maham Anga track.πŸ˜•
How the hell can she find an exact duplicate. Her face.. Jalal knows so well. Even if it was her twin, wouldn't the elder ladies like Hamida Banu and others know that she has a twin? And how the hell did she keep her locked up in that cave? Like for so many years?

And in the precap, why doesn't the duplicate Maham tell them that she was held captive so long. Or wait..what if this happened:

There are two mahamangas. Both of them play switcheroo every once in a while. Maybe Maham 1's activities of killing Ruqs baby is not known to Maham 2.

Ridiculous Idea.. I know..

But I have another hunch..

The Maham they showed in the flashbacks must've been a really good lady and must have got captured by this Maham. The bad Maham might have taken her place and voila, no one knows.

Both the ideas are senseless. My head is spinning thinking about how she is going to escape all this and then hatch herself into the Mahal again.
