It was disgraceful to watch Zoya been forced and dragged by Asad into a nikaah ...into a relationship...into a house in-spite of her continuous denials. It was shameful as a woman to watch it and what was more pathetic was to watch a bright independent vivacious woman turned into a commodity in the name of sacrifice. In the more literally sense she was the sacrificial goat.
What right does Asad or Ayaan has to take decisions for Zoya?
Does a man have ownership over his wife/ partner/ girlfriend...? NO. He doesn't...just as similarly as a woman doesn't.
A marriage/ a nikaah...a relationship is a partnership and not an ownership.
Well Ms Gul khan...I am done with Qubool Hai...because I started watching it sensing it was a love-story...loved the ups and downs in Asya's relationship...even endured Asad's slap but this is something I refrain from watching...this is where I choose not to invest my time in something disgusting as women been shown as a commodity...bought and sold at the beck and call as if they were slaves...a woman who commits suicide just because she cannot get married...men ready to sacrifice women as if they were mere properties...
Prehistoric times are over Ms Gul...the time of Mahabharata ...the time of Sati is far gone. It appalls me to see a self acclaimed progressive woman like you would take such a regressive approach.
