Shirish Kunder Thrown out again

While wife Farah Khan has begun working on her next directorial Happy New Year starring two of the industry's biggest stars currently - Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, her husband Shirish Kunder is constantly facing lows on the work front. News has it that Kunder has been replaced by Deepa Bhatia forKaran Johar's Ungli after a row of creative differences with the makers.

Bhatia has previously worked with Karan on his films My Name is Khan and Student of the Year and was hence the natural choice after the fall out. Ungli has been shaky ever since the arrest of its lead actor Sanjay Dutt and hence director Rensil D'Silva and Karan Johar have been very meticulous about the work on the film. Sources revealed that the editing work on Ungli was progressing too slow and hence Karan and Rensil were compelled to look for a replacement.

However, contradictory news has also flourished that Kunder is too busy with his own projects and hence was unable to devote complete attention to Ungli, hence asking for a replacement.

Earlier, Shirish Kunder also lost Salman Khan starrer Kick, when Sajid Nadiadwala donned the director's hat himself. However in Ungli, he is expected to share editing credits with Deepa Bhatia, though she might have to do some re-working on the portions already edited by Kunder to get the film's sequencing correct!
