TS: When Arnav fell in 'Love'
Parking my baby, my newly acquired black Royale bullet at my usual place, I walked towards the University building whistling when a girl whirled and jumped on me.
If anyone would have been in my place, he would have panicked but I didn't because this was a usual thing for me.
I, Arnav Singh Raizada was loved by each and every girl of the college.
And I totally deserved it.
Because seriously managing to make every girl blush with just a smile was something not everyone was capable of.
"Hey babes." I said while smiling at the Sanjana/Anjana whatever her name was. This was the only problem I faced while flirting with any girl. Remembering each and every girl's name was quite a big task I was not capable of doing.
She smiled at me shyly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Arnav Singh Raizada!!!"
I was still talking with Anjana( thank god I remembered her name) when a familiar voice thundered in my ear making me drop her hand and turn around when I saw a thick book coming in my direction.
I ducked immediately saving my head from getting hit by that horrible looking book twice in a week.
Not even thinking for a moment, I ran away from there.
Because Khushi Kumari Gupta was angry with me !!!!!
And there are slight chances that she might kill me today for forgetting again to pick her up for college.
More books and god-knows-what was getting thrown at me and till now I was successful in avoiding getting hit by them as I know Khushi was running behind me.
Suddenly a ball managed to hit me on head and I fell on the floor with a loud yelp.
Because of course out of all the things in the world, Khushi Kumari Gupta had to pick up a basketball to hit me with her I-want-to-be-an-archer spirit.
Massaging my head, I sat on the floor when she rushed to my side with a sorry expression on her face with all her anger just gone. Just like that !!!!!
I think she did it on purpose.
Why am I feeling that she is trying to hide her smile?
"Why you always do something to make me angry, Arnav? See now you are hurt and I don't like that." I heard her saying this with regret written all over her face. Aww my moti !!!!!
Oh I forgot to introduce her. She is Khushi Kumari Gupta/KKG/Moti, my best friend/childhood buddy/dramebaaz yaar whatever you want to call it but for me it's different.
I call her Khushi Kumari Gupta when I am angry or scared all because of her. I think she hates it a lot and I love it whenever I call her by her full name and see her cringe a little.
I call her KKG to challenge her into doing something she doesn't want to do at all. Like just yesterday, I wanted her to do my assignment and she refused. I teased her saying that she won't be able to write assignment as brilliantly as I do and in 2 hours, my assignment was lying in front of me written completely by her. Hah, she is so nave.
I call her Moti when I want her to stop eating my share of sweets. She eats a LOT. Shocking na? but not for me. Guys are famous for stealing tiffin of girls and eating it secretly but she used to eat my tiffin even without letting me know. Just call her Moti once and you won't see her eating anything for next 15 minutes. Yeah that's her tolerating capacity.
By the way, I also call her Moti when I feel she is the cutest and sweetest girl in the world. Not in that way!!! She will kill me if I ever thought about her not like my best friend but like a beautiful and sweetest girl that she is. Weird much haina !!!!
So, we both are together since like forever. Our parents are best friends and we both are too. She is my first friend and the best one at that.
I saw a girl passing me a sly smile and got up. I was about to go to her when Khushi grabbed my collar and dragged me to attend the lecture much to my annoyance.
She never likes whenever I flirt with a girl. She , you know, believe in all those fairy tales like there is a prince charming for her blah blah...all crap.
She is so worried about my attendance that she always forces me to attend the class. Little did she know that at the end of every semester, I sneak inside the staff room to fill her and mine attendance till 90%.
After attending the lecture where I peacefully slept and she wrote her notes so that she can write mine later, we headed to the canteen.
We sat at our usual place and I waited for her to place the order which she didn't do for a long time making me curious and avert my eyes from hot girls of the college. I looked at her and saw her twisting her palms together.
Uh-oh it means trouble.
"Urmm Khushi is anything wrong?" I carefully approached her. She looked up staring at my face with her big, beautiful hazel eyes making me lose control for a moment.
Damn her eyes are so beautiful!!!! I shook my head and repeated the ever ready warning again in my mind. She is my best friend...She is my best friend...BEST FRIEND.
"Arnav I am leaving for a state level quizzical competition tomorrow. ALONE." She whispered and looked up apprehensive of my reaction to this news.
My heart jumped in joy at the thought of travelling out of Delhi. Ever since we entered in college, we went out of Delhi to participate in a lot of competitions organized by other colleges. She was the head of quizzical club of our college and I was the captain of the debating society of our college. We always gave our best in these competitions and at night, we used to sneak out to visit the cool places of the city we were in.
Our parents never got to know about it and they really need not to know till we stay out of trouble.
Khushi was my partner in crime.
But wait a sec, did she said the word ALONE'?
My mind stopped working for a moment. What the!!!! This is impossible. How can Khushi go without me?
"WHAT!!!!!"
