Dhoom 3 releasing on 20th Dec'13;

Rajani's Kochadaiyan also releasing in same month; will it effect D 3 collections?

Kochadaiiyaan will be huge in the South...Dhoom 3 will be huge all over India n overseas

I don't think so... Dhoom will be hit in North india while Kochadaiiyan will be in south.

To top it YRFs will play thier old trick of increading the cost of tickets to make sure that the movie earns lot of cash within three days of its release.

So both films will do good...

both movies will do well. Kochadaiyan witl do exceptionally well both in south as well as abroad. Rajini's has a huge fanbase abroad.

D3 will initially get really well collections but that's about it

If so then it may effect D3 collections. Rajani's movie is planned for all India release (dubbed in Hindi) simultaneously like Robot so it may eat up D3 collections.

But I don't think the clash will happen

Both movies' producers will definitely avoid the clash

Rajnikanth's star power is very huge, I heard Robot had tarnished all the records and emerged as the biggest blockbuster, anyways on the topic i cannot prognosticate which movie might do well, all depends on the viewers and their choices.

i think dhoom3 will affect Kochadaiiyaan
dhoom3 is releasing in tamil and telugu and as far as i know dhoom2 telugu version is a hit so dhoom3 has high chances !
