z - "This is so yummy. Daa me want this for my birthday"
v - "Your birthday? Okay we will find something like this near our home. Jeevika did you realize Zaaine is going to be 5 in a few months"
j - "I think we should have a big party, what do you think Viren?"
v - "I like the idea"
z - "Mommy my sister come to party too?"
j - "Uhm no she will come after Zaaine. Okay its almost 1 am now. We have a flight to catch tomorrow morning, lets all go to sleep"
v - "Okay, lets turn off the lights"
After having their own little celebration, the three of them were off to sleep but only for a few hours. By four am the three of them were awake again to get ready to go back home. They reached the airport within no time and finally boarded the flight. Thu Zaaine was initially scared, he felt better than before with Jeevika sitting next to him the whole times. It was around 8pm when they landed back in Los Angeles and got a cab to go home. Zaaine's excitement was on a whole new level to be going home. As soon as Viren opened the doors to their condo, Zaaine ran upstairs to his room while Viren and Jeevika brought all their bags inside.
j - "I don't feel like unpacking right now"
v - "Don't. We will do it tomorrow"
j - "Viren I have to go to work day after. I hate going to work now" she said with a sad face
v - "Tomorrow when you're bored at home all day, you will want to go to work"
j - "Not anymore. What should we eat? I'm starving"
v -"Lets make something"
j - "Like what? Theres nothing in the fridge"
v - "Let's go get some groceries and restock the fridge"
j - "Now? I'm so exhausted. How do you have energy?"
v - "You're the energetic one not me. How about you stay home with Zaaine, and I'll go get some things"
j - "No its okay, I'll come with you too"
v - "You sure?"
j - "Yeah"
v - "Okay lets call Zaaine"
Viren goes near the stairs and yells Zaaine's name out but he was responding. Then he goes upstairs as Jeevika put her shoes on. He saw him cuddled inside his bed fast asleep. He smiled and then walked back downstairs.
v - "He's fallen asleep"
j - "Already?"
v - "Yeah"
j - "We can't wake him up now"
v - "How about some cereal for dinner then? We can go with the little monkey tomorrow to get groceries"
j - "Okay, that works but Viren I'm really hungry. Its either that or i don't know why my stomach is hurting"
v - "Just sit and relax then, I'll make something"
j - "Can I go shower?"
v - "Go for it. Come fast though" he said smiling
Jeevika went upstairs to freshen up, but before she went inside Zaaine's room. Even though he was asleep she changed him into his pajamas and tshirt so he could be more comfortable. She tucked him tight inside the bed and kissed him before closing the door. By the time she finished her shower, she went downstairs. She saw the table beautifully set up with a few candles and two plates.
j - "This is quite a cute dinner"
v - "Its the best I could do with the limited number of things we had home. Cereal, sandwiches, and some ramen noodles. What do you want"
j - "I'll take the ramen noodles" she said smiling ... "How about eating on the couch, feeling super lazy right now"
v - "Why not upstairs in bed then?"
j - "Let's go"
Both of them took their food upstairs and sat inside their bed feeling at peace and at home. Turning on the tv, the two of them enjoyed their dinner in bed, something they didn't get to do much often.
v - "I was thinking, that maybe tomorrow I can take you to see the house"
Jeevika looked at him and smiled meaning she accepted his proposal.
v - "If you like the house, we can give them an offer tomorrow itself"
j - "Don't you think we should look at a few other options before setting up our mind on a house? I mean just cause we're going to want to stay there for the next decade or so at least"
v - "We can if you want to, but I think you are gonna love the house"
j - "Viren I want to go on a vacation"
v - "Jeevika you do realize we just came back from one less than 2 hours ago"
j - "But I'm still tired, I want to sleep more. I want to be lazy. I want to cuddle with you and Zaaine. Should we go wake him up?"
v - "You sound like a 5 year old right now. Please don't wake up my poor son. I'll entertain you, but don't disturb my Zaaine"
j - "Your Zaaine? He's mine too"
v - "Okay you keep him, then my daughter will be all mine"
j - "Go to hell. Viren lets decide on a name" she said sitting up all in excitement...
v - "I already have the name picked out"
j - "WHAT? Isn't this a thing we're supposed to decide on together?"
v - "And who named Zaaine?"
j - "We both did"
v - "You mean you more like said his name and I had to agree with you no matter what" 😆
j - "Can you tell me the name at least?"
v - "The day she comes you will find out"
j - "Ughhh you're so annoying"
v - "Just for you" ❤️
