The first stills of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's keenly awaited film RAM LEELA have been released. A glance into it and the flashes of Bhansali's 1999 blockbuster, the Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai starrer, HUM DIL DE CHUKE SANAM come to our mind immediately.

From Deepika and Ranveer's dressing & look to complete feel of the movie or the ambience of the film, RAM LEELA every bit reminds us of Bhansali's magnificent HUM DIL DE CHUKE SANAM. Look as if; Ranveer and Deepika are reprising the roles of Salman and Aishwarya through RAM LEELA.
While Deepika Padukone, dressed in a traditional red ghagra, looks effervescent much like Aishwarya Rai, who had flaunted her vibrant look in a red ghagra in HUM DIL DE CHUKE SANAM, Ranveer Singh flaunts his abs in an ethnic Gujarati kediyu reflecting his flamboyant side, which Salman enthralled in the movie.
Set in the picturesque and magnificent backdrop of Gujarat, the film tells the captivating love story of 'Ram' & 'Leela', where Ranveer Singh plays the role of 'Ram', a local village Romeo, who fights the world to be with his Leela, yet stands by his clan at the cost of his own love and Deepika Padukone plays his love interest, 'Leela', a beautiful, young and fearless Gujarati belle who sacrifices all for her lover.
