"Samrat, tu yaha rukh jaa naa," Mayank pleaded Samrat as they entered a restaurant. "Mujhe kabab mein haddi banne ka koi shauk nahi hai, iss liye chup chap yaha baith aur Nupur ka wait kar.",
Samrat firmly said and left.
Sighing, Mayank took his seat and wondered, "Main kuch jyada hi nervous nahi ho raha hu? Accha sach mein main, as if, Mayank Sharma is getting nervous? Really?" He was shocked at this realization.

I hate people who come late." Mayank said angrily and looked at his watch. "Mayank!", just then, he heard a musical voice which calmed him in a second. For the first time, he loved hearing his name! He smiled and turned back.
"Sorry, I'm late.", Nupur innocently apologized which broadened Mayank's smile. "It's okay. Aao,
baitho.", Mayank replied and pulled a chair for her like a gentleman. Nupur formally smiled at him and seated.
"Mujhe laga ki tum mujhse milne ke liye manaa kar dogi, but you came.", Mayank said with a content smile and all Nupur was doing was blush. She could easily refuse when Gunjan informed her that Mayank wanted to meet her but she didn't. Why? She didn't know. Hiding her blush, she tried to speak normally, "Woh maine socha ki.. hum dono apni zindagi ek saath guzaarenge, so its better if we get to know each other more. Its true that our relationship is a compromise yet I felt like not to refuse."
Mayank smiled at her genuine answer. "Ow! Anyways, yaha aane mein koi problem toh nahi
hui?", he asked casually. Nupur shook her head.
"That's good!", Mayank said and tried to smile normally but it seemed like he was faking. After
all, he was too nervous to smile properly. "Kya logi?", he suddenly asked which brought
Nupur out of her trance. "Mmm Cold coffee!", Nupur replied slowly. "Fine!", Mayank said and called the waiter.
Mayank and Nupur were quietly eating. "Kya baat karu? Kya kahu? Kya kehena chahiye?", Nupur's heart was asking her mind a lot of question but sadly she had no answer. So she better chose to just keep her whole concentration on cold coffee.
"Nupur, tum iss shaadi se khush hona?", Mayank asked her and hearing this unpredictable question, Nupur felt a kind of shock at first, but after a while, she replied with an honest smile, "Maa khush hai toh main bhi khush hu."
Mayank was happy to get this reply but perhaps he was not satisfied. Perhaps he wanted to hear something else, but what that was, he didn't know. "Aaj se shaadi tak hum nahi mil paayenge, according to the ritual and still you are okay with that?", he asked in disbelief. Nupur nodded.
A forced smile crept on Mayank's lips. "Well, its same here with me. Anyways, i hope tumne yeh time enjoy kiya.", he said smilingly, trying to lighten up the environment. "Yeah I felt good.", Nupur replied sweetly and finished her coffee
"Okay so let me drop you home. Theek hai?", Mayank asked and nodding, Nupur said, "Theek hai."
They weren't met to just share a coffee with each other but rather to discuss about their life, to know about each other but it seems words didn't form's in neither of their mind and if it couldn't come out of their throat...so much was roaming in their mind, so much they want to have been keen to know about likes and dislikes but it seems words weren't coming out of their throat.
They both stood up and walked aside of the table, where suddenly, Nupur lost her balance and was about to fall backwards, but at the right moment, Mayank held her wrist and pulled her closer to himself, sliding his hand under her waist holding her in his arms enclosing her closer to him. Going in a different world with each other, they shared a beautiful eye-lock.
For a moment, they forgot about the world. They were lost in each other's eyes. Lost in each other...Nupur gripped Mayank's shoulder a bit tightly where Mayank enclosed her more firmly across his arms around her waist...they themselves don't know what they want to transpired throught their...was they searching something..or were just staring into each other's eyes..seeking for an answer..that thought this marriage is compromise but still I'll try to keep you happy.They were staring each other...maybe keeping an expectation from each other , gaining a new strange feeling which they had never felt.
Something suddenly happened. They didn't know what it was and even before they could understand, they were interrupted by the loud bang of the doorway.
"You alright naa?", Mayank concernedly asked and Nupur uncomfortably nodded. Mayank, understanding her discomfort, led her to the parking area and then they set out for Nupur's home.
The journey towards her home was silent journey...they both want to break this silence but none of them could able to get the courage to put some words on that.
Nupur:Thank you..!!!
Mayank:Huh..!!!
Nupur:Vo mujhe baachane ke liye thank you...!!
Mayank:Oh..!! My Pleasure...
Nupur:Mayank
Mayank:Hmm
Nupur:Kya aapko iss shaadi se koi problem hain...!
Mayank:Nahi Nupur..aur haan humari shaadi hone waali hain so I prefer ki tum mujhe tum keh ker bulao aap bahut formal lagta hain..
Nupur with a slight of hesitation agreed:Ermmm..okaay..so tum..I mean Okay...
He smiled to her dropped her at her home..she waved him..and turned back to her house door thinking,"It wasn't that bad..mujhe laga..pata nahi kya hoga...but itni bhi boring meeting nahi thi...".She smiled to herself and moved inside..
Where on the other hand Mayank was driving back tto his home smiled to himself,"Jitna socha tha..utni buri bhi meeting nahi hui hain...infact achi thi...uski awaaz...kitni sweet hain..aur uski aakhen.." his mind stuck at a point when fallen into his arms..the way her eyes were looking at his, submerging them into his...he saw her that she had a dark brown chocolate coloured eyes with beautiful dove shaped..."her eyes are so beautiful..".
He realizes that he has noticed about a girl's eye that to in the first proper meet..kya baat hain Mayank Sharma...jisko apne kaam se sir uthaane ka time nahi usne..aaj ek ladki ki aakhen..suddenly his mind corrected him no no not ladki instead hone waali biwi ki aakhen notice ki....he just smiled to him and entered his house...thinking lot's more he is going to explore in his to be wife...well let's see...what will happen furthur.
