Part 10
Mayank, Nupur, their mothers and a priest were sitting on the sofa in a round way. Samrat was standing at a corner. Mayank and Nupur were stealing nervous glances at each other. The priest was engrossed in reading something, while the mothers were looking at his face and waiting for an answer.
"Dekhiye, kundali ke hisaab se shaadi ki mahurat ek hafte baad 6 taarikh ko theek shaam ke 8 baje se shuru hogi.", The priest informed everyone. Everyone was astonished.
"Par pandit ji, itni jaldi? Iss ke baad ka koi mahurat nahi hai?", Radhika Bhushan concernedly asked.
"Maaf kijiye par iske baad 10 saal tak koi mahurat nahi hai.", The priest told them with a sorry look and this just added some more worry lines on Radhika ji's forehead.
"Par itni jaldi.. kaise sab..", she stammered and Shilpa ji , placing her palm on her shoulder, said in a supportive way, "Don't worry Radhika, sab ho jayega. Tumhe chinta karne ki koi zarurat nahi hai."
"Par..", Radhika muttered in disbelief by cutting off in her statement, Shilpa sternly said, "Par var kuch nahi, jitna manage tum kar payogi, karna, aur phir main help karne ke liye hu naa. So relax."
Radhika finally smiled a little bit, and seeing that peaceful smile, Shilpa smiled too. They stood up and hugging, they congratulated each other.
"Congratulation Bhabhi..", Samrat said enthutiastically...forwading his hand for her handshake...she took his hand shaking it with him haing a slight smile on her face...
"Congrats Bro..!!".Samrat move forward and hugged his dost cum brother who hugged him back having a genuine smile on his face...

"Pata nahi aage kya hoga. Feeling so restless!", Mayank thought and heaved a long sigh.
"Bohot darr lag raha hai. I hope ki sab theek ho.", Nupur closed her eyes and prayed in her heart.

"So kaisa laga Mayank?", Gunjan, sitting on the bed, curiously asked.
Gunjan came to Nupur as soon as she got that her marriage has been fixed...she planned to have a sleepover at her place that night.
"Accha hai, just like umm I don't know but accha hai.", Nupur tried to reply in her as-usual rude tone but she couldn't hide the blush on her cheeks.
After few seconds of silence, Gunjan spoke up teasingly, "I can get the fragrance of your blushing cheeks."
"Gunji, tu bhi naa!", said Nupur and shyly smiled.
"Accha theek hai. I wont tease you.", Gunjan said with honesty .
"Lekin seriously..kesa laga..".She asked her.
Nupur:Vese to Gunji acha hain...but shaadi ke baad kesa hoga ye kon keh sakta hain...".
Gunjan:Tu tension na le...Mene bahut suna hain Papa se Mayank aur Shilpa aunty ke baare mein..vo log genuinly bahut ache log hain..
Nupur:I hope so Gunji..jesa tu keh rahi hain..vesa hi ho..
Gunji:Don't worry Nupsie wesa hi hoga...
After sometime both friends chatted for sometime...when Gunjan spoke with a sleepy expression, "Mujhe bohot neend aa rahi hai. Thodi der so jaati hoon."
"Theek hai.", Nupur said while removing her jewelries. Gunjan laid on the bed and closed her eyes.

Mayank was signing some important documents, just then; Samrat arrived there. "Tu phir se office ka kaam yaha lekar aaya? Uff! Nupur tujhe kaise tolerate karegi, only god knows.", Samrat said in irritation but instantly smiled when he saw the unconscious smile on Mayank's face hearing the name NUPUR!
"Mayank Sharma is smiling and that too for a girl. Ahem ahem! Pehele mulaakat mein hi yeh kya ho gaya. Haaye!", Samrat said dramatically and knowing what was going to happen next after seeing Mayank's tu-pitega-mujhse expression, he ran away laughing.

"Peheli bar iss dunia mein koi meri jaisi mili.", Mayank thought deeply.
"Accha toh hai par shaadi ke baad agar papa ki tarah.. No! I won't let that happen at any cost." Nupur said with a determined look.

"Samrat, ek bar usse milna chahta hu yaar.", Mayank impatiently said while enjoying the fresh air of the night, standing beside the window.
"Arey waah! Mayank toh khud hi Nupur se milna chahta hai. Thank god mujhe hard work nahi karna padha." Samrat thought and grinned.
"Kya soch raha hai?", Mayank asked confusedly.
"Well, I can make u both meet tomorrow at any park or restaurant in the evening.", Samrat said confidently smiling.
"Really?", Mayank's face glowed up.
Samrat nodded smilingly but suddenly something struck his mind, "Waise, someone wasn't interested in this marriage.", he said in a way of pulling leg looking here and there.
Mayank, glaring him, said, "Mujhe kaam hai." and left.
Samrat giggled.As soon his friend left a frown appeared on his forhead and thought,"Mayank ko to bol diya ki milwa dunga..but kese dude..ye bhi socha hain...!!! Kese...".He was thinking thinking thinking...than suddenly something stuck in his mind,"Gunjan..!!! Yeass..Gunjan...Vo Nupur ki friend hain...Shayad usse madad mill jaaye..But Gunjan ka number..".He thought a bit...when something clicked in his mind and he went downstairs where his Dad was having a discussion with Mayank's mom...he taking the opportunity took his father's phone and went away...he searched for Gunjan's father number..He knew her father as he was one of business associates of his father...!! heaving a sigh.!!! he called him...but soon end the call before the ring could begin.he thought
"Yaar mein phone to mila raha hoon, but kahonga kya Uncle se...mujhe to ye bhi nahi pata ki Gunjan kerti kya hain...mm Ek kaam kerta hoon Suhaani se poochta hoon..he searched Suhani who was sitting in the swing on garden and was reading a novel.
Samrat:Suhani..
Suhani..looking up from her book:Ji Bhaiya..
Samrat:Mujhe ek kaam tha tujhse ..
Suhani:Haan Bolo..!!
Samrat:Vo ..ye jo Bhabhi ki dost hain Gunjan..vo kaam kya kerti hain..
om there..
Suhani nitted her brows asking,"Kya baat hain Bhaiya...".
Samrat:Please yaar bata na...
Suhani:MMm..dekho mujhe zaayeda kuch nahi pata , bas itna jaanti hoon ki vo writer hain magzines aur newspaper mein unke article publish hote hain and abhi vo ek book per kaam ker rahi hain..
Samrat:Not Bad Su..!!
Suhani:Vo Maa ko Radhika Aunty se baat kerte hue suna..
Samrat:Thanks a lot Darling..You helped me a lot..
Suhani:Vo to thik hain lekin maajra kya hain..
Samrat:Vo mein tujhe baad mein bataunga..saying he left from there.
He took a deep breathe and called up her father's number..
Man:Hello..!!!
Samrat said swallowing his lump:Hello Uncle Namaste..!! Mein Samrat...
Man:Ohh Haan beta bolo..kese yaad kiya...
Samrat:Vo Uncle ..vo mujhe Gunjan ka number chahiye tha...
Man:Kyu...kya hua
Samrat:Vo darsal...actually mein jis magzine ke liye kaam kerta hoon unko Gunjan ki writings bahut pasand hain usi silsiley mein...He release a sigh..Man..!!! it's so tough to make excuses on the spot.
Man:Oh..acha acha...Sure beta..!! take..
He gave him Gunjan's Number..thanking him Samrat jumped in air.Without wasting anymore seconds he dialed up her number.
He called her up praying to god not to face any rejection as after long time he is seeing a content smile on his brother's face.
He heard a girl's voice on the other side,"Hello..".
Clearing his throat he said,"Hello..."
Gunjan:Haan ji Kon..?
Samrat:Ji...Gunjan ji mein Samrat Mayank ka cousin bol raha hoon...
Gunjan:Ooo Haaye Samrat...bolo kese phone kiya...
Samrat:Vo mujhe ek kaam tha...jissme mujhe tumhari help chahiye...
Gunjan:Haan Bolo...
Samrat:Vo actually Mayank Nupur se milna chahta hain..so if you..
Gunjan:OMG..!! Sacchi..haaye Jiju to abhi se..bade romantic shomantic hain...haan don't worry mein Nupur ko mana lungi aur le bhi aungi but usse lana kahan hain
Samrat:Vo restraunt ka naam mein text ker dunga suna shaam ko 6p.m. per le ana isse pehle mere bhai ka romantic keeda dead ho jaaye...He laughed and Gunjan joined with him..bidding bye each other they cut the phone.
Gunjan grinned to herself and moved to Nupur's office.As it was lunch time she called her...
Gunjan:Hey Nups..!!! I am waiting fot you in the in the retraunt below your office come down...
Nupur:Gunjan..abhi...
Gunjan:Haan haan abhi...
She reached their..seeing her friend grinning to herself and her smile increases more when she sees her...she came to her and hugged her tightly..
Nupur suspecting a bit,"Kya baat hain Madam..aaj hawa mein baat hi kuch aur lag rahi hain..."
Gunjan:Haan baat hi kuch aise hain...
Nupur:Acha ..aur vo kya hain..
Gunjan:Vo yeh...!!! Ki aaj tujhe Royal Cafe per Jiju ne bulaya hain...completed her last sentence with a hint of tease..
Nupur was shock:Mujhe...kyu..
Gunjan:Tu bhi na...idiot..teri shaadi hone waali hain unse...yaar shaadi se pehle..thoda janna thoda pehchanna chahte hain isme kya burayi hain...
Nupur:But Gunjan...
Gunjan:Nupur jab tak jaanegi nahi ya pehchanegi tu unke saath zindagi aage kese nibhayegi...
Getting some sense in her talks she finally agreed,"Thik hain tu kehti hain , to mill leti hoon.."
Gunjan:Ye hui na...baat...
She just nodded her head,a little confused to herself...
