I think brij had gone far enough by taking all this crap... I would send the baraat back after the first drama.... rather have my daughter stay unmarried at home then lose my own dignity and self respect..... on top off the bad sasural....

How can you send your daughter to m-i-l like that. 'Aank dekhi makhi nahi nigali jaati', any father who really loves her daughter will make the same decision rather than hearing her sucide news in the paper which will happen in real life.

Think practically you will get it what I am trying to say. In India girls are getting married to family first then boy.

of course I am getting what you are saying.... as I said I would choose to have my daughter at home and unmarried.... then see her being treated like garbage....and get burned....

but the problem is in india still parents consider their daughters a burden.... the still cant see that a girl can take care off them till their death.... No that is the farz off a son....
