Mind blown. So Khushi's adopted bua is NK's mom. I wonder does NK know that he is the illegitimate brother or not. Because, Arnav's mom dies shortly after NK is dropped with Arnav. And Khushi's bua died 3 years after Khushi is born. NK is looking for revenge on Arnav because his father no longer abused him after Arnav came back.

This is one story for which I did not want a happy ending. Mind you, I am sucker for happy endings, and especially when its an Arnav and Khushi story, because as Arnav jee says "Arnav aur Khushi hamesha saath rahenge"..

But this story, and the Arnav here was so twisted, so vile, so cruel, that he didn't deserve a happy ending, not even if he spent an entire life time repenting. My heart breaks for Khushi and the child, two innocent lives snuffed out much too soon. Ah well, she found her peace in death.

You wrote a very hard hitting tale, and I applaud you for not sugar coating the end and showing ArHi riding off into sunset. Thank you for showing that its never okay to rape, abuse, and torture a woman, thank you for showing that a simple "sorry" and "I love you" does not soothe the wounds of the victim. Thank you for not romanticizing such grave issues and giving us a tragic end to keep things real.

DT has been a bloody fantastic read and I will look forward to your next story eagerly! :)

Arnav's redemption came too little and too late, his intentions were vile..he set out in a cold blood to ruin a fairly happy family..to rewrite history in his own words and in his own way..he tried to play God with so many lives in such nasty way that others had to pay a hefty price for the sins they did't even commit..with all this twisted manipulation he sold his own soul to the Devil along the way and what is a heart that he wanted to give to Khushi on silver platter without soul..no wonder she did't want it in her place I would't want it either. After Khushi's demise he lost his mind, well that was going to happen as a pure and innocent soul Khushi forgave him from all his sins from her side but what about the others he sinned too? And he had to stay on this earth to suffer where death was not even had mercy on him.

Khushi poor soul..lost everything and everyone..now how was it possible for her to have a happily ever after..she forgave Arnav but to forget everything that happened was not possible for her so she chose to have the only freedom she could have as Arnav would never have let her go and find peace and peace is the only thing she wanted and she went for it the only way she could achieve it.

There was another world for them which was free from pain and suffering where no evil exists and no one need to forgive anyone and in that perfect world where there is love they will meet and live in peace and have their happily ever after in their small world with their little family.

Brilliantly written chapter and Mari you Girl take a standing ovation for this awesome piece of written work.

That was slightly too much blood! Arnav's possessive love for Khushi was befitting his mind set which caused him to go mad. I doubt if he would have been able to lead a normal life after her death.

I suppose Khushi thought she had no other choice and this parting Gift to Arnav was her way of getting back at him.

It is really heartening to read so many different versions of ASR/Arnav. In the show he had been portrayed as a cruel and hard man for the world except his family. But with the happiness spread by Khushi, he had a leaning towards some joy.

I had a boss who said that adults' attitudes showed their childhood experiences and situations while growing up!

well this was more of the story of revenge and vengence. I wish Khushi could get out of all this she deserved better. But all the way she lost her spirit and soul and was replaced by the devil himself who killed her own child and herself for the sake of revenge because she very well knew what she and the baby meant to Arnav. Revenge was at the cost of her life, is not worth it. For Arnav I will just say he didn't deserve any better.
