The end made me cry!! And I was at work reading it!! Even though I knew it would be sad - I still could not help it. All in all I think with your ending you really stayed true to the story. I admit I am a sucker for happy endings like most of us on the forum. But for once, I agree with how you chose to end it.
Your story goes to show the extent of Khushi's suffering and her state of mind after all she had been thru. It takes a lot to even consider suicide let alone snuff a life inside of you. Did Arnav get what he deserved? No clear answer for that question. He absolutely did not deserve Khushi. But to not deserve Khushi and losing her the way he did along with his unborn child and then live thru a suicide attempt (157 actually) and go insane - might have been too much. He was too late for redemption. Even if he had attempted to mend things with her once he realized his feeling, things might have ended differently for all 3 of them. But I am OK that in death they are together. Thank you for keeping me in mind when you wrote the last para. 😉
I did however get a few facts messed up somewhere along the lines in the story - call it my dumb reaction:
- I did not realize Khushi was Laxmi's daughter. I thought Laxmi was her Bua. Not Lavanya's. That makes NK her brother!! He was about to rape her!! Ouch!!
- Also did not realize that Arnav's intention had been to marry Lavanya and make Khushi his mistress. Then what stopped him from doing that? NK sleeping with Lavanya should not have changed anything for him - in my opinion. He was not marrying her for the right reasons anyways - in fact he could have tortured her more as his wife.
OK enough about DT - I am excited that you have more for us in the form of a new story. I am OK with a Dark and possessive ASR. In fact even love the 18+++ scenes. ( I am actually surprised that the Forum police have not slapped your hand for posting such mature content. I have heard of cases where writers have had to move their stories to a blog in order to continue writing.) Just promise no more Khushi tortures at least not to the extent in DT. And no one dies!! Although the name suggests there might be death. Hey - I can wish can't I?? You write what you need to.
How will we know when you start posting the new story - can you create a PM list or something??
PS - I still bawl my eyes out when I watch scenes from the show - and I know every dialogue by heart. In my family we have 4 generation of women that are crazy about ASR!!!
