Today episode proved that Jalal never loved Jodha not for a second! she was like a trohpy wife for him!

He just wanted her at any cost because she was angelic! And probably the first woman who hated him to the core!

Today when he was about to kill Jodha with his sword was indeed thr worst scene of the serial uptil now! he didnt thought for a second about her... 😕

How Jodha will ever love a man who almost killed her😭...

The cvs shouldnt had shown this scene... instead Jalal could have barked on her and asked harem security to put Jodha in jail or something...

No matter who the culprit is now... The damage has been done😵

I wish jodha had insulted Jalal today! 🥺

P.s: May be iam talking non sense but iam heartbroken 😔

For your statement, I can only give one answer - today for that instant Jalal showed that he was an emperor...and thats the harsh reality!😊

This is all fictional no doubt...however, if Jodha was indeed guilty, that would have been his verdict -> execution (I realize that the amount of investigation that went into accusing Jodha was minimal and that Jalal was being very strong-headed about it, BUT and a big BUT, in yesteryears it was not really a hard task framing and having someone else executed for it - even a royal!) With the amont of clues presented against Jodha, I can imagine many-a-royal would have met a sorry fate!😒

Besides, a king's prime duty lies with the welfare of his kingdom... any king who honours that code remains successful...if a King gets embroiled in matters of the family he is bound to start losing his hold on the kingdom - even if he is a good king!

For Jalal, the heir was very important for furthering his legacy and a purposeful murder of it was beyond comprehension...

I agree that Jalal was being blinded by rage and not taking Hameeda's suggestions into consideration - but my argument is that many kings who're considered 'Great' today might have not even given their family such chances!

History has shown that if a queen had been suspected of a crime (even if actually innocent)...she'd have been locked in a special dungeon and not allowed to meet anyone till the king's courtiers/ministers investigated the case...At least Jodha did receive some form of respite in her own room and she was able to meet with her brothers...

I actually somewhat agree with you...fine i agree that he is a empror but if he really did have feelings for her one bit he wouldnt have done what he did..
What had he done had it been mahamanga or ruquiya...first he would have stopped and questioned them...
In such case i think that Jodhas impulsiveness is totally justified...if jalal is a king he is also a husband...no matter what anybody says the people who are close always get a little more preference...now im sure jalal will be the first one to fall in love since it seems a harder matter for jodha... 😳

In the case of Richard the Lionheart, he imprisoned his wife because she went against him in support of her son to overthrow him for the throne. In her case, he locked her away, but it was definitely a Royal prison...she essentially had her own home and servants and everything that a queen could want for except her freedom...I'm sure many in her situation would consider it a life of luxury regardless whether she was allowed to move around freely or not.

I just point this out because we can use examples from every which way to say that Jalal is acting this way or that way...regardless of the matter, taking his sword and essentially executing her on the spot for her admission goes AGAINST everything he has said. He is the one that has said that the trial system of the mughal empire is beyond reproach and everyone is treated to a fair trial...therefore killing her right away does not HONOR those sentiments and as ruqaiya said (and for once I agree with her) it doesn't befit an emperor to act in that way.

i'm not speaking about the extremism of the action...you are absolutely right that his actions are of an emperor and his duty lies to the kingdom, however when he has given her ten days...even with the confession it should have been dealt with the next day.

So essentially the topic creator is correct, Jalal does not love Jodha, has never had any affection for her, because just like he saw the love and purity that she displayed in her poem...if he had even a slight understanding of his Jodha he would have realized right away that Jodha's confession was said so quickly, so abruptly and so matter of fact...that it in no way resembled how she acts...and as soon as she asked for him to spare her brothers...that should have been the red flag for Jalal that Jodha is doing this for some self righteous reason, and not because she is actually guilty.
