Part 16

Next morning, Swayam and his mother were having breakfast and Sharon and Sameer enters. "Good morning BM and Swayam" Sharon says as normally as possible and gives side hug to BM. She smiles at Swayam but Swayam completely ignores her. She feels disheartened but quickly composes herself. "Hey senorita, missed me?" Sameer started his nautanki again. "Yes senor, I missed you so much" BM replied while chuckling. Both BM and Sam share a hug while Sharon rolls her eyes and says "what BM why you bear his nautanki? You don't have to do that for this monkey" Sharon said as usual irritated by Sam's actions. "Come on Shar, She likes me and there is nothing wrong in liking a handsome and good looking guy. Right, senorita? " Sam asks and BM replies "Of course Senor."

"Fine, I don't know why even I am bothering." Sharon said and grabs an apple. "Cause you are jealous, my love" Sam said. "Ugh don't call me that and I am not jealous i am glad you got your senorita. Now at least you will not bother me" Sharon said care freely. Sam goes and sits beside her and keeps his hand around her neck and says in full dramatic tone "come on Shar, you are my old love and don't forget Old is Gold." "Yuck" all Sharon replied which showed all her irritation. All this time Swayam was sitting and listening to all the crap with his fist tighten up. He was tolerating all that not cause of Sam nor for Sharon but just for his mom and her health. Sharon looked at the time and says "Oh crap, I have to go to pick up my dress, BM. I have to go now" saying this Sharon stands up. BM looks at her and says "dress for what beta? Are you going somewhere?" Sharon looks at BM and smiles at her and says "BM I told you earlier that today is the school reunion." "Oh yeah I totally forgot about that.[after a small pause BM continues] But this means Swayam can attend the reunion as he is here" BM says in full on excitement. Before Swayam or Sharon could react, Sam interrupts "that's cool senorita. Swayam you should come with us too. I am sure you are going to enjoy." Swayam looks at him with surprised expression and says "you are going as well? You didn't attend our school than how come you are attending the reunion?" Sam smirked and says "dude I was the famous student of the school and you don't know as I joined after you left. And yeah I am attending the reunion of course for those girls who are craving to meet me"

Sharon let out a big sigh and says "are you coming Swayam?" Swayam without looking at her says "sure, I am." BM smiles at his son's decision and says "fine then, Swayam will pick you up Sharon as I don't want you to neither drive yourself nor ride in a bike." Sam looks at BM and says "fine I will soon buy a car but I love bikes and I am not quitting them." Now BM let out a sigh. She is always against Sam riding a bike as according to her he rides very rashly which is kind of true. Soon both Sharon and Sam leaves and as decided Swayam will pick Sharon up at 8'o clock.

After some time, Swayam was pouring water in his car and checking engine and all when he heard sound of bangles. He looked around and found a girl standing by the main gate with viel covering her entire face. His heart skipped a beat. He ran towards her with all her might. But as soon as he reaches the girl starts to walk away from him. He holds her by her wrists and calls out "Ganga" she turns a round a little scared and says in regional language something but Swayam doesn't understand a word. By then gardener comes and let Swayam know that she isn't Ganga and can only speak and understand that particular regional language. Swayam turns around with a heavy heart and thinks to himself why? Why I wanted that girl to be Ganga only? Why I desperately run to stop her? I thought I forgot about her but then why I reacted like this?' he punches the bonnet of his car leaving a dent on it.

Time passes and it was time for the reunion party. Swayam was in tuxedos. He reaches at Sharon's place on time. Sharon also comes out as soon as Swayam reaches. His eyes fell on her she was walking while putting her beads of dress properly. She was looking exceptionally hot. All heavenly beauties would be nothing to how she was looking. She was almost there but suddenly she misses a step and was about to fall but Swayam circles his hands around her bare waist and stops her from falling. She shuts her eyes tight and circles her hands around his neck for support. Swayam kept looking at her until she comes in her senses and opens her eyes and stands up straight. They looked here and there due to the awkwardness. Swayam opens the passenger door and she sits in. The ride was quiet, Sharon kept looking outside through her window and Swayam couldn't stop himself from glancing at her every now and then.

They walk in the venue and alls eyes fell on them. Boys looked at the hot diva Sharon and girls looked at the irresistible Swayam. They walk in together awkwardly feeling each and every eyes on them. Soon Sharon got engrossed with her school/college friends and Swayam well he was sitting by the bar and as usual stealing glances at Sharon. The announcer asked all the people to get on dance floor. Most of them danced but Swayam and Sharon didn't as they had no dance partner. After some time the announcer announces that the light will stop at a girl and a boy and they will have to dance together without any excuses on any random song that is going to be played. The lights went dim and two spot lights moved around the hall and it stopped finally at a boy and girl. Of course they were none other than Sharon and Swayam. They were caught off guard and were left with no other option but to dance with each other. Swayam acting again as a gentle man goes and asks her for the dance and Sharon accepts it. They walk up to the center of the hall and music begins.

Swayam keeps his one hand on her bare waist making butterflies fly in both of them and he holds her hand with his other hand. They come close and start dancing with their eyes not leaving each other's eyes. Sharon was so close to him and all the past moments and memories started coming in Swayam's mind. The childhood memories were first one to strike. He remembers how they would sit in their garden at nights and counts stars. He remembers when Sharon would lose in all board games and whenever she wins it would be due to her cheating. He feels frustrated as he couldn't re-live those innocent moments of their lives. He was thinking all that still doing close dance by holding her bare waist and her one hand.

He then remembers the hatred he had for her. The moment when his eyes fell on her in the club. He recalls her stupidity of going with those idiotic people and putting herself in danger. The time he burst out on her when he finds out that she is Sharon, the person he hates the most. He remembers him leaving her alone in that abundant road and feels bad about it.

He twirls her around and brings her close to him. He makes her go away from him but still held her wrist. When she reached far he pulls her to him and she comes crashing in his chest. He holds her chin up and sees her with pain and confusion in his eyes, the pain of her not forgiving him and confusion of why this thing was hurting him so much.

He then recalls how he goes to his house after that incident and gets scared by Ganga's actions. A small smile came on his face and everything around him blackens out. He was now in his own world. He was lost in Ganga's cute talks and actions. He remembers how she consoled him and made him realize his mistake without any fear of his and his reaction. Suddenly he sees Ganga in front of him. He grabs her hand and starts dancing with her.

He moves his hand from her shoulder to her wrists where she had worn several bangles. He comes beside her and holds her and lifts her from behind. Her back was on his chest and she was up in the air with his support. He puts her down and circles his hands around her stomach and dances with her. Their bodies were moving in synch.

He suddenly comes out of his trance and finds himself dancing with Sharon. He looks around and realizes he was dreaming of her. He looks at confused Sharon and smiles at her and at himself. They were still dancing in each other's embrace. The song finally ends leaving a confused Sharon and frustrated Swayam to face each other.

All clapped at the end of the music and Swaron goes to their original spots ignoring each other completely. The party went well and it was time to go home. Swaron reached the exit and Sharon got a 100 volt shock. She saw a girl all over Sam. Swayam looks at her with confusion as she stopped walking due to the shock. Swayam sees in the direction she was looking and tightens his fist thinking that Sam is cheating on Sharon. He was about to take step towards him to beat the life out of him but stops as soon as he hears Sharon giggling. Swayam gives her a questioning look and understanding him she replies "this girl is crazy about sam and sam well he would prefer dying than being in her arms." Sharon laughed again and says "poor him." As soon as Sam's eyes fell on Swaron he begged for help and looks pleadingly towards Sharon. But Sharon smirks at him and says out loud "have fun guys" and winks and holds swayam's hand in excitement and leaves for the car. Swayam was shocked and was looking at her lighten up face and his hand which was held by her. She was still laughing at Sam's face and poor condition. They reached the car and then when Sharon realizes that she was holding his hand all the time. She blushes and walks towards passenger door and sits in the car. Swayam also sits and drives towards Sharon's house which was in the same direction but a little further from his house.

Sharon was thinking about her frist dance with Swayam and was blushing hard. The sudden halt of the car brought her back to the world. She was scared thinking Swayam is angry and that's why he has stopped the car to leave her alone on the road like before. She looks at him in fear and he gives her confusing look not understanding the expression on her face. He tries to start the car again but it doesn't work. Finally he conlcludes making Sharon take a breathe of relief "I think the car broke down." They both came down from the car and Swayam says again "hmmm we will have to walk my home as your's is far away." Sharon nodes in agreement and they walk silently. A point came where there either could go right or left. "Umm I think we should be taking left" Swayam said as soon as he saw her going towards right. "No Swayam its right" Sharon tried convincing swayam but it went in vain. Swayam looks at her and firmly says "it's left". Sharon's diva mode kicked in again "look I live here and been living here since I was born. I know the way to your house by heart. So listen to me its right and not left." Swayam folds his hand on his chest and says "I don't agree." Sharon also folds her hand on her chest and says "well in that case you go your way and I will go mine." Swayam's jaw dropped, he was shocked but he composed himself and says "fine see you in few hours as you gonna have to walk a lot." With this Swayam turns towards left and Sharon towards right confidently. Sharon was humming a song and was walking and feeling bad for Swayam as he was the one who had to walk extra.

Suddenly she feels a hand around her waist. She was about to scream but he turns her around and keeps his hand on her mouth not letting her scream. He pushes her towards the wall still covering her mouth until she hits the wall. He keeps one hand on her bare waist and pulls her closer. He keeps her forehead on hers and slowly whispers "relax and don't shout." He then moves his hand from her mouth and keeps it with his other hand around her waist. Sharon was boiling in anger "what the hell, swayam? Have you lost it? You scared the crap out of me. Leave me right now." Swayam smirked at her reaction and came close to her. Sharon closed her eyes and Swayam goes to her ear and says "if I leave you right now than there is gonna be a huge fight." Sharon opened her eyes in confusion and asks "what do you mean?" Swayam says "look behind me" and waits for her to see when she looked behind him; he continues "see they are drunk. Now as I am like this they going to think you are my gf so they will not mess with you but if I move than they will." Sharon brings her eyebrows together and asks "and how all this is going to result into a fight?" Swayam looks at her with a shocked expression and questions her "so you think when they will mess with you I am going to close my eyes and walk away?" Sharon bites her lip before replying "umm yeah". Swayam says in disbelief "hell no. now be a good girl and stay like this. Ok?" Sharon nodes in a yes' having no other option left. They were inches away Swayam kept looking at her and Sharon tried avoiding his gaze. Soon the goons left and Swaron started walking towards the house.

Sharon looks at him and says "why are you coming with me?" Swayam looks at her and replies "well I want to. Is there any problem?" Sharon glares at him and says "yes there is as you think it's a wrong way." Swayam moves his hand in his hairs and say "well I don't want you to be in trouble." Sharon rolls her eyes and says "I can take care of myself." Swayam replies "no you can't". Sharon gives him a deadly glare before looking straight towards the road and says "whatever." He smirks at her and walks with her. They reach at Swayam's place and Sharon with a smirk and say "Look as I said I was right." Swayam finally giving up says "yes I guess, good night." Sharon replies with a smile "good night" She walks up to the guest room and turns before entering in the room and says "Swayam?" by the time Swayam was in his room and was about to shut it but stops and look at her "yeah?" Sharon bites her lip and says "thanks for saving me [Swayam smirks and seeing this Sharon continues] though it wasn't needed." Swayam eyes popped out and Sharon showed him her tongue to tease him and goes in her room. Swayam smiles at her childishness and Sharon had a big grin on her face. Both Swaron slept thinking about the walk to home.
