even in the recent na bole tum na maine kuch kaha, they showed that mohan falls of the cliff and is assumed dead. but they brought the actor back, cause the cv's knew the jodi is too popular. but they tried to see if the vasu megha jodi would click, cause vasu is nothing like mohan. he does not dress or talk like mohan. the audience were not happy with megha being linked with Vasu.

so the cv's gent back to the old popular formula and decided to go with the fact that Vasu is indeed mohan who has lost his memory. and thought he still does not speak like mohan. the audience are happy to get their favorite jodi mohan and megha back.

a lot of shows have lost their popularity and even had be puled of air, because the audience could not accept the break up of a popular jodi,

recent case in point the show Phir subha hogi. got a huge amount of criticism for breaking up a popular jodi,and the seiral went down hill, so the killed the female lead, took a six month leap, showed that she wasn't dead paired her up with the male lead and took the serial of air 4 months later.

if i research about it a lot of serials have gone of air simply because the main and popular jodi had be made to seperate. Dil mill gaye met the same fate.

pavitra ristha TRP fell drastically after Arjuns marriage to Ovi, purvi had to be brought back pregnant with Arjuns child but married to Dr.Onir. to later once again get Arjun purvi together. audience loved it. and with all the drama going on in the serial the best scenes are of Arjun purvi together.

iss pyaar ko kya naam doon? was forced of air because the audience would not let it break up the super hit jodi of Arnav khushi. so the veiwers demanded the show go of air. and IPK was Gul show it was her Baby. i hope she has a good plan. that the drama is only that "drama". but it is Asad zoya that are married. and not Ayaan zoya.

I agree, I use to watch Phir Subha Hogi and Pavitra Rishta I know exactly what you are referring to. When I read(red) this morning about Ayaan and Zoya getting married I automatically thought of Arjun and Purvi-they both loved each other, Purvi sacrificed her love for Ovi. Even if they get married unintentionally as the article hinted that's even more Pathetic!
