Omg this is just beyond sick!. Aren't the parents thinking what hell they are sending their daughter to. She will be better off being single whole life. Her Sicko FIL will get a free pass at her. He definitely has no remorse as he wanted to marry her himself🤢

Read recently in newspaper some different version. The parents actually belong to Madhya Pradesh and were in Kota as labourers. They went to Panchayat for justice and went to police when Panchayat ordered child marriage of their daughter to rapist's son. They did not approach panchayat for child marriage. They are now planning to return to their hometown because they feel that their children are not safe in Kota.

I hope its true becuase the girl will atleast have her parents support. otherwise if the parents are in for the marriage then the poor girl has no one to turn to

Thanks for posting aparna.. really shocking but this is the truth of our society. these incidents keep happening and we really can't do anything about it...
I remember seeing a news few months ago on a news channel(dont remember the details of the channel & date) where a girl around 13 yrs old, a victim of child marriage, was shown along with her baby!! More shocking, her 'husband', the father of the baby was hardly a 15 yr old boy, who was shown drinking liquor and doing many more such illegal things along with similar aged youths. I couldn't imagine what would be the future of that baby.. I feel lack of education is the most prime reason behind such things.
A second incident, which I recently read about - a minor (around 16 yrs) youth had raped a 6 yr old girl in the neighbourhood, killed her brutally, cut her body into pieces and threw it in public toilet. The youth was arrested. but according to the great law of our country he was a minor at the time of commiting the crime. so he got just 2 yrs jail (he had already spent 1 yr in jail during the court hearing). Now after 2 yrs, he is released from the jail, roaming freely without any shame and even blackmailing the victim's family that he will do the same with their younger girl !! the family, belonging to labour class, is now worried about how they can save their younger girl. The parents of the girl had to go out for work every day, so a relative takes care of the poor girl in their absense.
The moral is, chaning the mentality of society towards women is the way out here. This should be done right from schools. Hope the government takes some constructive steps about it.
