It is the story of Kamla Bai. A poor woman who does not want her children to suffer like her and wants to educate them so that they are well settled in their lives.

Kamla Bai's husband Vitthal worked in a mill which was taken over by Sahil Singhania. And Sahil's wife Neetu was pregnant with her second child.

Kamla Bai is a conductor in a school bus but she leaves the job due to her pregnancy and destiny brings her face to face with Neetu who needs a maid in her house.

When kamla comes to know about Vitthal's mill she reluctantly goes to Neetu to work as a maid. Neetu gets labor pain and kamla helps her to get to the hospital, and as she leaves the hospital even she faints and gets labor pain.

Both Kamla Bai and Neetu give birth to baby girls. Kamla bai names her daughter Kalpana. Neetu can't breast feed her daughter due to weakness and so Sahil Singhania goes to request Kamla Bai to feed his daughter. This is the story so far.
