Scene 1
Few men were shown appreciating the works of an artist at an exhibition where some sculptures and statues made by him were displayed. The organiser of the exhibition, Sourav, enters with his son. When he tries to stop his son from running around, he falls on one of the statue/idol and breaks it. Out of everybody's shock, a canister with a human eye inside, comes out of the statue and CID is called.
Daya, Nikhil, Rajat and Pankaj enter. They check the broken pieces of the idol and the human eye. On interrogation they come to know that the artist had visited the exhibition once in the morning and hasn't been contacted after that. Daya asks Rajat to take the canister to Dr.Salunke and takes the details of Mr.Makrand (the artist) from the manager of the exhibition.
Scene 2
At the forensic lab, Dr.Salunke informs ACP and Sachin about the solution in which the eye was preserved. He adds that the eye wasn't a very old one, i.e. someone's eye must have been extracted very recently( mostly 14 to 16 hours ago). Salunke adds that he would need to take the eye to the central lab for further tests. Nikhil enters with the information that no eye was stolen from any of the eye banks of the city in the past 6 months. Another question that arose was how come the eye fitted into the statue which was made long time back. ACP suggests that may be Makrand had actually left a space empty in the statue so that the eye could be inserted later on. Also, his call records say that he used to receive lot of calls from London.
Scene 3
This side, a man is seen assuring his boss on phone to get hold of the eye from CID very soon. After he cuts the call, he orders his men to bring the eye from CID's custody anyhow within the next 2 hours.
Scene 4
Sachin visits Makrand's house. They don't find anything but some of his paintings. The servant tells them that he had seen his master only the previous morning when he had left for the exhibition. He had not yet returned since then. They check his laptop that was lying on the table and find the list of customers for his work. Most of them belonged to London, which explains the large number of calls that he had received from the country. On further interrogation, the servant adds that he had left for the exhibition at 8 am in the morning but then returned at 10 am. However, he stayed only for around 5minutes and then again left in a taxi. He tells them that the taxi wasn't called by Makrand, at least not in front of the servant. He remembers having seen some advertisement of Pizza and a poster of a flying man, behind the taxi. He also tells them about the model of the car.
Scene 5
At the advertisement agency, CID team is told that there are a large number of taxis who have the mentioned advertisement. However, the staff members confirm that there was a taxi with the extra poster of a flying man. He tells them that the drivers would be joining them soon, so CID team waits. Once the driver comes and is shown Makrand's photo, he tries to escape and chase follows. Finally CID catches him. He says that he tried to escape because he thought CID had come to arrest him as he was cheating with his company. However, he adds that he had received a call from someone to pick up Makrand from his home. He gives Abhijeet the phone number from which the call had come. Abhijeet dials the number and finds it out to be of a PCO around Makrand's house. They suggest that someone else must have arranged the cab for him. The driver adds that he had left Makrand outside the art gallery. However, they had not seen Makrand entering the art gallery for the second time that day as per the CCTV footage. Abhijeet suddenly receives a call from Dr.Salunke. He was injured and so Abhijeet and his team rushed to help him.
Scene 6
Abhijeet, Rajat and Pankaj reach the spot and find Salunke in an injured state. The front glass of the car was completely broken. He informs them that while he was going to the central lab for testing the eye, few men came in a car and attacked him and took the eye away with them. Abhijeet says that he is glad that Dr.Salunke was fine cos that's what is more important. Salunke tells them the car number.
Scene 7
Rajat, Freddy and Nikhil visit a house where it was possible to find Makrand. Freddy says that the car in which Salunke was attacked belonged to Makrand too. However, when they break open the door they find a terrible smell inside. They find Makrand's dead body in the bedroom with one eye cut out. They predict that the eye found inside the statue must have been Makrand's. They find Makrand was shot on his chest. The gun in Makrand's hand suggests that he must have attacked the killer and since there was one bullet less in it, it meant one bullet was shot from his revolver too. They find a bullet on the opposite wall. On searching the house further, they find the sketches of the statues that Makrand used to make. They notice that as per the sketches Makrand used to leave an empty space in each of his statues through which he used to smuggle certain things to London. However, it could not have been simply an eye as eyes are sold at the maximum rate of around 2-3 lakhs..whereas Makrand's photos used to get sold at much higher prices of around 40 lakhs. This means he must have been involved in some other smuggling.
Scene 8
The man who had asked for the eye receives it. He asks his men to wait outside till he gets their shares and goes inside a house. He then takes a bag, unlocks the entry to a secret passage via Iris recognition of his own and Makrand's eye. Inside the room, he puts all the money, jewelleries in his bag and comes out only to find his men pointing guns at him. However, before anybody could do anything, CID team arrives and catches him.
He(Mohit) tells them that he was Makrand's partner in crime. He then confesses that he was the one to have killed Makrand because he wanted to save himself. He gives them the details of what had actually happened that day. He says, he was called by Makrand at the house. When he went there, he saw no one but heard Makrand speaking to someone about killing him when he comes and also cutting his eye off so that Makrand could access the locker room later and escape with all the money. Hearing this he gets furious and takes out his gun and tries to enter the room when suddenly someone shoots from within. In return, Mohit shoots from behind the door. When he goes inside the room, switches on the lights and finds Makrand lying dead on the sofa. He notices the instruments and the canister with the chemical kept on the table beside and does what Makrand was supposed to do with him. He cuts off the eye and runs away. He thought of hiding the eye somewhere safely till he could make all the preparations for leaving the country. That's the reason why he hid it inside the idol. However, his luck didn't favour him. ACP gives the phaansi dialogue.
Scene 9
Nikhil and Sachin were planning to go for a movie as the case was solved. However, ACP says that the case was yet to be solved as the reports had not yet come. Salunke enters with the report. He tells them that when Makrand's eye was cut out, he wasn't dead, rather only unconscious. However, they are shocked as Mohit had not mentioned anything about it. Also, Salunke confirms that Makrand didn't shoot as there were no traces of gun powder on his hands. They wonder why would Mohit try to save the real culprit in that case. Salunke gets a call from Tarika. Before Tarika could say anything, the phone got cut and Salunke hurries with the rest of the team to the lab for helping her.
Scene 10
Tarika was found lying unconscious. On gaining back her senses, she says that someone had come to the lab in disguise of a peon. He had told her that Salunke had asked for the eye and thus sent him. When tarika called Salunke to confirm, she was made to inhale chloroform and thus became senseless. The eye was once again stolen.
Scene 11
CID team visits the only company of the city where Iris Recognition Technology lockers were manufactured. They are shocked to find the manager shot dead in the office. They also notice the burnt CPU on the table. However, the assistant was still alive and he tells them that they had a backup for the computer which was hidden in the conference hall. Nikhil takes the assistant to the hospital and Freddy looks for the hard disk in the conference hall. The hard disk is then connected to a laptop and the details are checked. Rajat and Freddy come to know about the man with whom Makrand had another locker with the same technology. They knew the man behind all the murders now.
Scene 12
Daya and his team visit the exhibition head, Sourav, at his house. He was the real murderer. Before he could run away, they catch him and slap him hard. Confession follows. He says that he used to be Makrand's partner once. However, when Makrand came to know that he was being cheated, he took away all that they had earned and hid it in the locker. Makrand broke up all ties with him. However, he tried to convince Makrand many a times to forgive him for his mistakes and give back his share, but Makrand never gave in. So, he made this plan. He visited Makrand at the latter's house. There he made him read out a write-up. It was as if he was talking to someone about killing Mohit. Sourav recorded it and then injected something into Makrand's body which turned him unconscious. He then made him lie on the sofa. Shot a bullet at the opposite wall and recorded the sound of it. He then waited for Mohit to come. When Mohit came, he played the recording and Mohit thought it was Makrand, so he shot back at him. Then, like Mohit had said, he cut out Makrand's eye and hid it inside the statue at the exhibition. Sourav followed him there and later broke the statue as if accidentally so that the eye comes to everyone's notice and CID gets involved. He wanted to accuse Mohit of Makrand's murder and in the meantime run away with all the money which Mohit himself would have stolen from the locker. However, the plan failed when CID team caught Mohit even before he could steal the money from the locker room.
