What's with that red dot on Aakash's neck? I've seen it on the forehead before, even though that's weird too. But, never have I seen it on the neck before. What kind of religious fundamentalism are they trying to show? Take it off please.

There is nothing weird about this. Although I'm not religious myself, going to a temple is a part of daily life in India, as is applying the tilak, so he can have it on his throat every day. Clearly, you have never lived in or travelled in north India. Your post is actually quite offensive. Please ask yourself if you would ask a Muslim or Christian character to take off a hijab or crucifix.
