well the trend is going to change in 2015...as our Prem is going to come back on-screen...SB-Salman combo is a welcome change...a beautiful change...Original Romantic Prem is on the way...

to be honest...even i am bored with action films...everyone is doing the same genre and make it masala to entertain viewers...looks like they are inspired by south industry...all tamil films are the same...you will see Vijay doing a action film...then a few gap of months Ajith...Vikram...and other younger lots does the same with different script...its boring...

thank god in BW we have aamir...hrithik and ranbir who does different films...

Mental has no one famous except salman and tabu and for salman it's a home production

Not alot of money spent

Also he started his career with MPK that's a love story

As for action I mean 5 of the last 7 years action has had the highest grosser

2006/ dhoom 2

2008/ ghajini

2010/ Dabanng

2011/ bodyguard

2012/ ett

2007/ Om shanti Om

2009 / 3 idiots

Every actor is doing action now

Franchise action - dhoom 3, race 2, krrish 3

Masala action - CE , boss , Besharam

So don't just harp on Sallu

Also the story of Mental is the best story for a salman film since maybe tere Naam IMO

And even if sohail mucked it up and made a complete thrash film no one has seen salman onscreen for over a year so the hype alone will make it to past 150/160

And if by chance if sohails makes a good movie then sky's the limit

Everybody has to decline one day, the Khan's will too. Even the Bachchan was sent packing after hitting the magical mark of 50. 5 more years of Khandom, after which the new guys will take over.

the news guys are not even near to KHANS...RK is a good actor but there is flaws in him too...look at besharam...😆...i hope he signs good and different films and leave the masala entetainment to the KHANS as they have more experience than him...which is his forte...KHANS have done all genres in their career...and they have perfect comic timing that connects with the audience...and a amazing screen presence that skips your heartbeat...none of the newer lots has such skills and persona...

KHANS are known to make a mindless crap into a BB and ATBB...but the newer lots doesn't have that much potential...even RK can be in risk...besharam is one example...

KHANS are in their late 40s still giving ATBB and BB...the trade experts and industry are totally obsessed with their BO records...i wonder what will happen to BW if the KHANS are no more...
