I would say that it is very relevant to today's society. All of the examples everyone listed are relevant in how people live their lives. But the Bhagvad Gita in particular is used by CEOs as a way to run their comapnies. There was an article in Newsweek a couple months ago, can't remeber the exact detail I was reading it in the eye doctors office, but it said that many CEOs are using the teachings and morals of the Gita instead of the "The Art of War." The Gita's teachings are very passive and rigtheous while the art of war is aggressive. Its gaining popularity among the big leauges of business.

So I feel that it is very relevant to not just the Indian socitey worldwide, but to everyone.

Well, I dont know about the Gita. But since im muslim, the Quran was written any many many many years ago. But when reading, it gives you a guide line to follow. Times may have changed my good and evil, good and bad, there still pretty much the same. The ten commandments are still very valid..you shouldnt lie, your shouldnt disrespect ur paretns, you shouldnt take gods name in vain. its all still very relevent
