Yes, so we've heard. It seems that not only did Milkha Singh want Akshay Kumar to portray him in the film but director Rakeysh OmPrakash Mehra was also keen that Kumar play the title role. Unfortunately, things didn't work out. Now that the film has made it to the 100-crore club, sources say that Akki wishes he had done the film.

it would have been a nice change to see akshay essay this type of role. With that said farhan did an amazing job so im not bothered.

I can't see other than Farhan Akthar, because he has done a damn good job.

He might even win a national award for this performance

No offence but Farhan is a way better choice than Akshay. I saw BMB last night and I can rightfully say that no actor would have aced the role like Farhan did. I am a big Farhan fan now 😃
