Why didnt it work?
Was it the hype, the last and only time Yashji (RIP) and SRK would come together, first time SRK and Katrina pair?
Was it, in some peoples mind, the music of AR Rahman not living up to his usual standards?
Was it the Christian religious angle, where maybe some might think wouldve been more understandable had it been a Hindu angle?
Katrinas lack of emoting abilities, SRKs age showing, story seeming unbelievable? What was it?
In my personal opinion, its one of my favorite films. I liked it more than any other love flick of SRKs, over Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, over Dil To Pagal Hai, over Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, etc.
It was a simple yet powerful story, Id say majority liked it over not because it still achieved a Super Hit status in India, and Blockbuster overseas.
