Rimjhim and Yashoda are hanging out outside the police station
sitting in their jeep and waiting for sameer to call back. Sameer
hasnt called back yet and Yashoda is getting worried. Yashoda tells
Rimjhim off, saying why didnt you do something about Malini earlier
on during all the times Yashoda told her to do something!! and now
they are in over their heads! Rimjhim looks regretful that she didnt
anything earlier. Then Rimjhim says she'll call Vijay (Malini's ex-
husbands brother and the guy who threw Rimjhim into the ocean).
Rimjhim is happy that maybe Vijay will come and help her out (what
hell !!! he threw her in the river for gods sake). Anyway no one
picks up the phone so Rimjhims sad again. Then Sameer calls back and
tells Rimjhim that hes tracked down Inspector Girish and now
Inspector Girish and Sameer are on their way to Mumbai and will be
there within 24hours. Rimjhim and Yashoda feel more relaxed and
settled now.
Prem is preparing to return home, hes packed his bags. The family
come and say their farewells until the engagement in three days.
Avinash arrives home from the police station looking very disturbed.
He remembers what he told Rimjhim in the police station, when he
told her that knew Malini was innocoet from the start but he wanted
to see how far Rimjhim could go to ruin his life! and when he told
Rimjhim that she loves Prem etc. Avinash opens the wardrobe and
takes out a bottle of alcohol. (WHY would Rimjhim want to ruin his
life, after she delivered a baby whilst having cancer and fell into
a coma and kept Avinash in the dark till the end!!!)
Rimjhim and Yashoda arrive home from the police station and Yashoda
assures Rimjhim that everything will be fine now. Yashoda goes off.
Rimjhim feels alittle better but then she sees Malini and they
approach each other giving each other evil eyes. Malini tells
Rimjhim that she will be leaving this house very soon with Prem.
Malini taunts her further saying that Prem has left home for now but
dont worry because he'll be back for her engagement. Rimjhim
shouts 'CHUP!!' (shut up). Rimjhim reminds Malini when she told her
that she will be leaving the house in 20days, Rimjhim says ''today
is day19 and within 24hours you will be gone!!''. Malini is shocked
and worried. Then Rimjhim lifts Malini's mangulsutra off her neck
and says: ''you're wearing a mangulsutra for my husband'' and
Rimjhim rips it off Malini's neck and hands it to Malini. Malini is
not impressed in the slightest.
Avinash is drinking glasses and glasses of alcohol in his room.
Malini comes in looking shocked. Malini tells Avinash that Rimjhim
ripped this mangulsutra off my neck!! Avinash is listening but hes
drunk. Malini starts ranting on and on about how the Mangulsutra is
a womans identity and marriage etc. This leads to her telling
Avinash that he has never given her any love. Avinash gets up but
because hes drunk hes dilly dallying about the room abit. He starts
telling Malini that Rimjhim has no right to do these things and
anyway she loves Prem. Avinash tells Malini that she is his lawful
wife!! Malini is so happy on hearing this that she hugs the drunk
Avinash (usually Avinash would push her off) and Avinash decides to
hug her back. They hug passionately and have sex. Avinash opens his
eyes the next day and finds himself in bed topless and wrapped
around Malini. He looks more sober and hes realised that hes done
the dirty deed with her. Hes not looking happy
Kaveri and Pratapji visit the party president. Kaveri tells him that
shes being good and trying to help the downtrodden people (i.e. the
mill workers). The president says thats a really good thing! however
she must realise that sometimes she mustnt be so hasty in doing the
right thing. He goes on to explain that even a coin has two sides
and that politics is not a stable field so she must be more
diplomatic. The president says that the mill workers will eventually
get new mills and the other benefits they deserve as the President
himself will deal with the matter.
Rakesh gets a call from work and realises that he has just recieved
a bigger export then last time! Yashoda tells him that now he has
recieved a bigger order he'l probably need another loan and this is
not so good. He says that everythings fine and he can handle it.
Yashoda tells him that hes already put the business on morgauge and
whats next? the house on morguage!! Rakesh says that he'l do that
too if nessecary.
Rimjhim is standing in the garden looking depressed when Yashoda
comes along and tells that Sameer has arrived in Mumbai and is on
his way here! So everything will be fine.
