What is love...........

Hey Guys!!! could u describe luv in your words….or you could choose from the following defined by different people..if you find it difficult..

1. Some say it's mysterious, magical, complex, difficult, imaginary, thought-provoking, inspirational, intuitional, joyous, immeasurable, ecstasy, and undefinable.

2.Love is a feeling directed at someone which acknowledges their goodness.

3.Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres

4.To describe love is very difficult, for the same reason that words cannot fully describe the flavor of an orange. You have to taste the fruit to know its flavor. So with love.

5. Love is a bond or connection between two people that results in trust, intimacy, and an interdependence that enhances both partners.

6. Love is the ability and willingness to allow those you care for to be what they choose for themselves, without any insistence that they satisfy you.

7. When you tell someone something bad about yourself and you're scared they won't Love you anymore. But then you get surprised because not only do they still Love you, they Love you even more

Hey Teena 6, 11, 13, 16 and 20 would be the lines i'd pick.... have some bone of contention or the other with the rest. 😃
As for my own definition, i think life's a little bit like a jigsaw puzzle.... your work, your kids, your friends, your larger family circle, your passions in life, your hobbies....are all the various pieces that come together... love is not one of the pieces.... its that which brings all the pieces together, its the meaning that emerges once the pieces fit together.
I have another definition as well.... love is like breathing.... do you consciously tell yourself that you breath every moment?... no.... in fact, you take it completely for granted... in fact you forget all about it for days, months and years together.... and yet you never stop doing it.... and if it stops, you need lifesavers.
Too idealistic na?... yes i know that.... but then i'm a hopeless fool where love's concerned 😃

To begin with, I would say it starts as line 2...starts when you acknowledge the goodness in others...It may not be someone special..but even in friends also. Over a period of time it may change its colour and transform into a feeling described by line 5 and 6 i.e trust, intimacy, inetrdependence and acceptance ...to add to this acceptance of a person as a whole....and then it grows and grows out of all insecurities to a level where you know you are there for each other......can stay in the same room without saying a word...yet comfortable....can enjoy a movie together without telling each other everytime what did u like about the movie....reading the same book together...and then finally line number 20... 😃

1'4'5'6'9 & 12 define my understanding of love. But to be very honest I think love is when you look into someone's eyes, and see everything you need to see.I'm a hopeless romantic but still I believe that love is not all to life it's the very soul of a human being. You can't survive without love. It's the core of every life , relation , emotion and occassion. Even when we tell someone we hate them it's the love for that person that's been hurt in the first place.Love is not in saying it love is in feeling it. Words sometimes fall short in defining love.And as Shvetal said love is like breathing, every second of our life. 😊

😆 Oh Teena yes I'm very idealistic in love. I want everything to be perfect from my side. But marraige is real love is just an aspect of marraige there's a lot at stake when you marry. You and I live in the real world most of the time. As to one word for you it has to be "Wonderful". Your energy just radiates from you, you'r someone I can look back at , someone who'll be there saying " I'm here, I'll wait till you come back!" The sort who are always ready to lend a helping hand , or an eager ear to listen to someone. And the kind that don't refrain from giving others a piece of your mind on the subject itself allowing them to see the other side of everything. 😊

You are right ...I am very emotional and probably romantic ...I guess all the fans of Gaurav basically are romantic here ....this is how I felt it 😉

I found 1,12 and 20 the most matching as sometimes when you are in love , you don t seem to see anything beyond love and give more then what you expect ...love can be also very painful and difficult too.... that s all I can say ....😉

I agree with you only upto a certain extent, though I feel that loving without expectations does not last very long....we have some expectations...may arise after some time though...but all the human beings have... 😊

btw Is there any connection between being Gaurav's fan and being romantic... 😉
