The acquiring of rights for movies such as 'Guru' and 'Umrao Jaan' has even more significance as the leading pair in both movies – Abhishek and Aishwarya got engaged last week and are scheduled to tie the knot next month. What's more, Abhishek's superlative performance in Mani Ratnam's 'Guru' has won him accolades from his critics, while Aishwarya on the other hand gives one her most memorable performances to date in J.P. Dutta's 'Umrao Jaan'. 'Nishbad 'draws on Vladimir Nakabov's novel "Lolita", about a 60-year-old man's romance with an 18-year-old girl and stars Amitabh Bachchan and Jiah Khan, who grew up in London. | ||
