Scene: A Factory
A truck enters with lots of cardboard boxes. A maruti van comes in. The guys in it ask if the 'maal' is ready and ask the others to transfer this 'maal' into the dikki. One guy says that the whole city will be treated to fireworks on Independence Day (meaning the boxes contain bombs)
Scene : Jail
Independence day is being celebrated in the jail, where ACP Pradyuman is the chief guest. Daya and Sachin accompany him. ACP hoists the national flag and then proceeds to give a speech to the prisoners.
Meanwhile, Abhijeet is far away chasing a criminal on the road along with Rajat, Nikhil and Pankaj.
Abhijeet catches the criminal and slaps him for possessing RDX. The criminal confesses that his gang was planning a series of blasts in the city. He says that the first blast was planted at Beehro (something) Jail. Abhijeet is shocked to hear this because that's the place ACP and the others were at this moment celebrating Independence day.
He immediately calls Daya. Daya walks off the dias and takes Abhijeet's call. Abhijeet tells him about the blast. Daya shouts to everyone to get off the dias. The bomb explodes within a ew seconds. CID team members escape with minor injuries, but many of the prisoners are killed.
Bomb squad arrives and starts investigation.
The jailer asks Insp Rakesh about the 3 terrorists who were not to be seen at the function. The constable says that they were in the special cell and had refused to attend the Independence day celebrations.
ACP asks Sachin and Nikhil (😲, I thought he was on the road with Abhijeet!!!! 😕) to accompany Rakesh to the special cell and check if everything was fine.
Sachin, Nikhil and Rakesh find a huge hole in the wall of the special cell and the terrorists missing! Sachin informs ACP about this.
The jailer tells ACP that the 3 terrorists belonged to 'Tarkash Kaushal' group and they were arrested 2 months ago from Pratap Nagar.
ACP asks the jailer whether anyone used to meet the 3 terrorists. Te jailer says that there was an NGO by name 'Seva mein leen' (😕) from where some volunteers used to meet the prisoners. ACP asks the jailer for the CCTV footage of the volunteer meeting the prisoners and also asks Sachin and Nikhil to go out of the jail and ask if anyone had seen the prisoners escaping.
Sachin and Nikhil go out and make enquiries, but don't get any information.
Scene : Bureau
Abhijeet, Freddie and Sachin discuss about the blast in the jail. Abhijeet asks Freddie to pull out the records of the 3 terrorists. Freddie gets the information that this group of terrorists always caused blasts during festivals and celebrtions.
Nikhil comes in with the CCTV footage of the NGO guys meeting the terrorists in jail. Freddie plays it.
At one point Abhijeet asks Freddie to stop and zoom into the NGO guys faces. He then asks Freddie to get the phone number of 'Seva mein leen' NGO and phones them. He asks Freddie to email the screenshot of the 3 guys to the email id of the NGO. The NGO soon receives the email and tells Abhijeet that the 3 men were not from their organization.
Abhijeet tells Freddie to send the photos of the 3 escaped prisoners and the 3 fake NGO volunteers to all police stations.
Scene : Bus stop.
A bus to Pune arrives. Some passengers enter the bus. One suspicious looking man also enters. He pretends to place his bag under a seat but removes a flask and places it under the seat and then gets off the bus saying he remembered something important. The conductor later notices the flask and opens it. Within minutes the whole bus is filled with smoke from the flask and everyone dies.
Scene : A hotel
(The receptionist of the hotel had apparently identified the 3 fake NGO guys and had informed the police.)
The receptionist tells Abhijeet that the 3 guys were there the previous week but had checked out.
Abhijeet asks if their room had been cleaned. The receptionist replies that the room has not been cleaned yet. Abhijeet, Rajat, Nikhil and Pankaj proced to check the room.
Rajat finds a burnt paper. Abhijeet asks Nikil to send the paper to Salunkhe.
Rajat gets a call informing him about the death in the Pune-bound bus.
Scene : A small town
A man tells his wife about severe stomach pain. The wife tells him that she's having stomach pain too. Suddenly everyone in the town seems to be suffering from severe stomach pain. One man calls for ambulances and everyone is taken to the hospital.
Scene : Hospital
There's a suddenly inflow of patients with stomach pain. Media guys arrive to cover the news.
Scene : Bureau
Abhijeet, Sachin and Nikhil are busy making calls enquiring about the terrorists, but there's no use.
Sachin gets a call about the stomach pain epidemic.
Abhijeet gets a call from Salunkhe.
Scene : Forensic lab
Salunkhe analyses the burnt paper and finds a chemical formula written on it. Tarika searches for information on this chemical and finds that it is poisonous chemical which could turn a huge river or lake water into poison. Abhijeet asks Rajat to inform the water supply board to stop water supply to prevent more stomach pain cases. Rajat phones, but there's no response from the water plant.
Scene : Water plant
Abhijeet, Rajat, Pankaj, Nikhil and Salunkhe arrive and find that the employees of the water plant were suffering from stomach pain. They are sent to the hospital.
Salunkhe analyses the water in the water plant and finds that it contains the same poison whose formula was found on the burnt paper.
The manager of the water plant (who only drank purified water from home) tells Abhijeet that an unknown man had entered the water plant and meddled with the pipes. But before he could question the unknown man, he had escaped.
The manager of the water plant describes the unknown man (6 feet tall wearing black pant and shirt etc). He tells Abhijeet that he had run towards the back gate of the plant where there is a taxi stand.
Scene : Taxi stand
CID team asks the taxi drivers about the man who had escaped from the water plant. One of the drivers Kallu says that he had taken this man to Hotel Grand Caravan.
Scene : Hotel Grand Caravan
CID vehicle arrives at the entrance when Nikhil sees one of the terrorists who had escaped from the jail. CID team catches him.
He tells the cID team that he was not aware of what the others' plans were but the fake NGO guys were leaving to Nashik by train.
Abhijeet tells him that they would soon be caught.
Scene : Bureau
The 3 fake NGO men are arrested from the railway station and are questioned.
They tell CID team that they had no idea about what the others in their gang were planning. They 3 guys are sent to the lock up.
Nikhil comes in with the terrorist who was arrested at Hotel Grand Caravan. Abhijeet asks him what was the others' plan. The terrorist refuses to tell them anything.
Freddie offers him a glass of water. The terrorists refuses to drink. Abhijeet tells him that he had not had any water since 5-6 hours and he would be dehydrated and media would target CID team for torturing suspects. (😆 )
The terrorist drinks it. Then Abhijeet sits down and says that at last the country would be rid of one more terrorist. The terrorist seems confused. Sachin tells him that the water which he just drank was from the same water plant which caused poisoning in the people of Jangarpur (???) Abhijeet explains to the terrorists how he too would soon die a painful death. The terrorist is scared out of his wits and falls at Abhijeet's feet asking Abhijeet to take him to the hospital. Abhijeet tells him that he would take him to the hospital if he told CID team about the terrorists's next target.
The terrorist tells Abhijeet that the next target is Mahima mall. Abhijeet and Nikhil leave to the mall. Freddie tells the terrorist that Abhijeet had played a trick on him to get the truth out.
Scene : Mahima mall
A 'woman' arrives with a baby in a pram. A security guy offers to take the pram through the other side, bypassing the frisking.
CID vehicle arrives. Abhijeet, Rajat, Nikhil and Pankaj spread out and start searching.
Abhijeet tells the mall's manager about the bomb. Rajat announces that there's a security drill and requests everyone to go out ASAP.
Pankaj notices the pram and checks it to find that there's a doll in it and not a real baby.
The bomb squad guy checks and says that a bomb was attached to the doll. The bomb squad guy defuses the bomb.
Abhijeet asks the security guy as to who brought the pram in. He says that it was a lady in red saree. Abhijeet remembers having seen 'her' while checking the mall. The security man tells Abhijeet that 'she' had gone to the parking lot.
The CID team reaches the parking lot, but the security guy says that 'she' had already left the mall in a white car. He gives CID team the parking slip which contained the registration number.
CID team gets information that this car had gone to Jagatpura. They soon catch up with the car. CID team follows the car at a distance to see where 'she' goes. The 'lady' goes to a building and meets a guy. The 2 of them celebrate the impending blast in the mall.
They both then enter the building and take off their wigs. They look at some new illegal guns admiringly. Exactly at that moment CID team arrives and arrests the whole gang.
Abhijeet slaps the terrorist and tells them that the bomb in the mall has been defused. The terrorists are taken away.
Abhijeet and Rajat wish CID viewers a happy independence day. 😊
