Guyss.. I have recently started watching this show and this question was hovering in my mind that why Maharani Dheer Bai Bhatiyani played by Aashqa Goradia wants to harm Pratap and what will she gain from it.

Can anyone tell me why she is doing all the evil works???

She was very selfish & wanted to make her son Jagmal as Maharana of Mevar.

She is real kaikayi in Pratap's life.😆

Thanks to you all guyss btw I don't think Dheer Bai (well the real one would have been like this). As acc. to history Maharaja Udai wanted Jagmal to be his successor but after his death the ministers of Mewar and other officialS made Pratap-the eldest son to inherit the throne as Jagmal was physically not fit to be a ruler. So, why would Dheer Bai start planning and plotting when it was clear to her that Maharaja wanted her son to inherit.???

Udai Singh did not want Jagmal to take over the throne but was persuaded by Rani Bhatiyani. If you watch the show you will see that Pratap is Udai Singh's preferred which bothers Dheer Bhai.

"Before his death, he nominated his ninth son Jagmal as his successor under the influence of his favourite queen and jagmal's mother Rani Bhatiyani. But after his death, the nobles of Mewar prevented Jagmal from succeeding and placed Maharana Pratap Singh on the throne on March 1, 1572"
