As the time for excuses are over , I will just thank you and Lord Almighty that I have still got you guys with me.
The story is beginning to pick up space.
This is just a peek into things that are about to unfold.
Abaloria
Abhishiktha was absentmindedly running her hand through her long black hair. The meeting with the witch had gone satisfactorily. Only now she was more worried.
Hours before
Abhishiktha sheathed her sword and took a tentative step forwards. The slender figure clad in black and red robe took no notice of her and her companions. She was or at least seemed engrossed in the solutions , herbs and books in front of her.
"Iniya" Abhishiktha called cautiously.
"You do know the popular belief Princess. That leadership is given to those who deserve it" a soft voice emanated from the slender form.
"I do know that which is why" Abhishiktha began but was stopped when in a flash the witch stood an inch away from her gazing sharply into her eyes.
"Then why do you want to find the heir princess? Don't you think you deserve? You are after all known for your righteousness and bravery and exemplary leadership skills" the witch spoke in a slightly mocking tone
Abhishiktha took a deep breath before answering
"No I don't think I deserve it. Not when the heir to the throne is alive"
"Why dear Princess why? This is a golden chance a real golden chance to rule over these fools" the witch almost cackled throwing a distasteful glance at Liana and Chithri.
" I am not someone who craves power Iniya. I want to do what's right by my people" Abhishiktha's eyes hardened understanding the meaning behind the witch's words. " As long as an heir to the throne exists , no matter where the person is or how long it will take me to find the person, I will find him or her"
"My my! What a noble soul! Very much like your father" the witch sneered "Very well I will help you"
"You will?" Abhishiktha gaped , her composure falling for a moment . She saw the mirth in the witch's eye and knew she had to pay a price.
"What's your price?" she asked , keeping her face emotionless.
" Oh ! Do not worry about that my dear princess , I am doing this out of the goodness of my heart" the witch's lips curved in a not so friendly smile.
Abhishiktha sighed as her thoughts came back to the present. The witch was never one for generosity. She was willing to bet her life that there was a price to pay. For now she could only pray that it wouldn't be too high a price.
Dehradhoon
Aron stood rooted to place . The dreadful aura around the ritual site he had discovered overwhelmed him. The dark magic was of a rare kind and would probably have been used to gain some previously impossible feat. He had to inform his superiors. Aron was more than sure that the scroll was in Dehradhoon. After all Dhanraj was the most feared dark magician of the present time.
Old Library
Piya glanced up to see a whistling Zaaar coming towards her. By the smug look on her friend's face she knew that Zaara had found out something.
" What's it?" Piya asked smiling.
" Ah! You read me well Miss. Jaiswal. I did find something in this about to disintegrate book" she held up a very old book covered in dust " Now I can't say it is the place but it's a possibility"
Zaara opened a page and pointed out a paragraph with hand drawn picture beside it.
"Is that?" Piya's eye widened . She glanced up to see Zaara smiling.
"Yes it is"
The Fort , Switzerland.
Erene looked at her sister who appeared deathly calm. That to her was a bad sign. When Liliana was deathly calm it usually meant they had trouble ahead.
Trouble was too small a term for what they were facing now. Erene shivered slightly at the thought of the hurt they were going to cause. Her eyes slid over to her husband Aramis and Eon , her friend and brother in law. They looked equally disturbed. For to cause hurt to people they considered family was not something none of them could envisage.
Ambolkar Mansion
Dhanraj had never felt this satisfied. Everything was falling into place. The scroll had been easy to crack once opened. A little more blood sacrifice and the scroll had spilled it's secrets. What satisfied him most was victory was just a hands reach away. He had to just step down two stairs and he would be standing directly beside the resting place of the most powerful dark wizard ever.
Deepannitha
She couldn't help smiling. Why shouldn't she? She will have her revenge soon. Her daughter was now completely in her control. A puppet in her hands. She could finally put the worthless daughter of hers to some use. She would begin within her family. With the person she made the mistake of taking into her wing.
Siddarth's house
Panchi felt nervous and she hated the feeling. More than that she hated the fact that Siddarth could still make her feel so. If not for her son she would never have come to meet him. Dhruv had never asked her for much. But she always knew she couldn't fill the gap of a father in his life and she wished her son's life to be wholesome. If she could almost face death to bring her son into this world then she would do anything to make him happy. She glanced at Dhruv who was playing with his fingers. She could feel her son's nervousness.
"Are you okay?" she asked placing a hand on his head.
Dhruv gave her a tentative smile and glanced at his father's house looming large in front of them.
" We can go back if you don't want to go Mumma" Dhruv said looking at his mom, wanting her to be happy.
Panchi placed a tender kiss on her son's forehead. He would always be the person she loved the most.
"I am fine darling . Let's go" she replied unbuckling her seat belt.
In the forest ,
Near the river.
She smiled as she felt strong arms engulfing her and the scent she so loved tickling her senses.
"I missed you" Abhay said in a husky whisper , placing a kiss in the crook of her neck. Piya shivered with excitement.
Turning around she gazed lovingly into the ocean blue eyes. She would never tire of looking into them. They always seemed to suck her in. Her eyes moved onto his lips. She saw them curving into a smirk probably sensing her raging hormones.
Without her having to speak her tender lips were soon captured by his warm ones in a kiss the poured out all their longing for each other.
A little far away
Jeh watched the statuesque girl play with water of the small pond. She was moulding water into shapes she wanted , sometimes turning it into ice. Her burgundy coloured hair moved now and then as the wind touched it. He smiled. Something about Zaara made him always turn her way and watch her. Even if she was simply strolling in the college corridor. Her spunk and liveliness drew him in. He knew this was wrong. He was in a relationship with Anwesha. He shouldn't be having feelings for somebody else. But neither could he help himself. Never before had he felt this kind of attraction.
Mrinalini
Unknown to the couple , she watched them. Burning hatred raged through her. The wrecker of all her dreams was enveloped in a blissful world of his own.
But she wouldn't allow him to have lasting happiness. She would personally see to that.
