Whose reviews do you look forward to and enjoy the most?

Please share them, and if the critic has a website/blog, share that as well so that we can check it out.

I think my favorite is Baradwaj Rangan (https://baradwajrangan.wordpress.com/), I enjoy his reviews a lot. He has an interesting way of looking at things and a nice style of writing. He is very knowledgeable, actually, sometimes his writing goes over my head.. I think he's a bit elite. Sometimes he goes too deep and over-analyzes things in the film and his readers are worse than him. But I like him because he's honest and not afraid of criticizing or praising.

So, who's your fav? And why?

Frankly, none. I don't read much of their reviews anymore. These days, critics go too much into finding sense in movies, that they no longer care about whether the movies are entertaining or not. It's all about sensible scripts of them but hello, aren't movies also made for entertainment? Sometimes we just need a break from too much sense y'know.

My favourite is Mihir Fadnavis from Firstpost. I always have the same insights about the movies as him baring few exceptions here and there.

Another reason I like his reviews is cz our tastes are very similar and hence I believe his judgement for a movie more than the public and other critics

Taran Ardash cares about entertainment. In fact, that's what he said in his review for Chennai Express: "You seek entertainment, entertainment and entertainment in a film like CHENNAI EXPRESS and the movie lives up to the hype and hoopla surrounding it. "

I had never heard of him but I just checked out his JTHJ review and it's hilarious! I will have to follow him from now on.

From the professionals - I like Anupama Chopra usually I agree with her but I also like her interviewing style too she asks some very interesting questions

And also Vigil Idiot although he's lost some of his charm though he's not as funny as he used to be
