Konkona Sen Sharma to play a tomboy in Madhuri Dixit-starrer, Aaja Naachley. (That's her second Yashraj project)

Konkona Sen Sharma seems to have proved the naysayers wrong. Those who thought that the actress would be a failure in Bollywood need to rethink. For the actress has signed, for the second time, a film with Yashraj films.

Konkona will share the screen with Madhuri Dixit, Akshaye Khanna and Kunal Kapoor in Aditya Chopra's Aaja Naachley.

This will be Konkona's second project with Yashraj films after Pradeep Sarkar's second venture. Is she getting stronger by the day at Yashraj Films? "Hardly," she brushes off. "I am not under any contract with Yashraj films, it's a mere coincidence that I have signed two films with them. I met Aditya Chopra and he took me to Pradeep Sarkar. I loved the script and I agreed to do the film. This time, it was Anil Mehta who wanted me in his film. I think highly of him as a cameraman, and I think he will make a fantastic film," says Konkona.

Although the film has been touted as Madhuri's comeback film, Konkona feels that she'll be able to leave an impact. "It's obviously a Madhuri Dixit film. And it's going to be her show, but the film has an ensemble cast and that's very interesting. I liked my role in the film. I can't reveal much about the story because we are under contract," she says.

Konkona will be playing the role of a tomboy for the first time on screen. "My character is slightly tomboyish and I have scenes with Madhuri and Kunal Kapoor in the film." As for working with Madhuri, she says, "I think Madhuri is a very fine actress. I am waiting to meet her on the sets."
